Serving the Kokomo Community

Each year, moms are showered with love on Mother's Day across the country, The second Sunday in May is the day when we show our mothers just how much they are appreciated for everything they do for their families. Unfortunately, while most mothers are smiling from ear to ear and being showered with love, flowers, and chocolate, many women spend thier Mother's day in homeless or domestic violence shelters.

Movers for Moms®

The Movers for Moms® program was created by the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® founder, Mary Ellen Sheets, to provide moms and women in need served by community shelters with daily essential items in hopes of brightening their day and spirits! These items include: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, personal hygeine products, razors, shaving cream, and baby diapers of all sizes. We are excited to Partner with Five Below(opens in a new window), Planet Fitness(opens in a new window), and Waterford Place Health Campus for our Movers for Moms® campaign. Our shelter recipient for these collected items is Kokomo Rescue Mission(opens in a new window), which serves homeless men, women, and children by keeping them together in their crisis of homelessness.
