The Mission of Community Harvest is to alleviate hunger through the full use of donated food and other resources throughout Northeast Indiana. Each year, Community Harvest distributes more than 13 million pounds of food to nearly 85,000 individuals. To support their mission, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has partnered with Community Harvest's "Crush Hunger" challenge. Each fall, Purdue University Fort Wayne, University of Saint Francis, Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana Tech University, Huntington University and Manchester University gear up for a friendly competition to raise food and funds in support of hunger relief. In 2018, "Crush Hunger" provided over 30,000 meals for families and individuals through Community Harvest's programs and member agencies, and on-campus food pantries.
