Meet the Crown Point office Team

Mike Shane has been a large part of Valparaiso's/ Crown Point TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Team. In 2004 Mike was the first driver ever hired at the Valparaiso location. He went from a mover to a driver. He then worked in the office and became an office manager. After 2 years in that position, he was again promoted in 2008 to the General Manager. Once assuming the role he became our right-hand man and a foundation of the business. He is the definition of a family man, from marrying his high school sweetheart to having twin boys to now being a grandfather of two as well. Mike is also an elite member of the Moose International organization earning the title of Pilgrim, and is 1 of only 1000 pilgrims out of the organization of 200k+ total members. Mike truly resonates with the core value of Giving back to the community, as he and his moose lodge consistently hold benefits for local sports teams and organizations raising money and helping them to operate.

Ross has been working in some form for the Valparaiso TWO MEN AND A TRUCK since he was 15 years old. What started out as just working on cleaning in the shop soon advanced to filing paperwork and then working on the trucks. Ross went to Ball State University where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and he made the Deans list twice. Upon returning from Ball State he became the Marketing Manager and the Storage Manager. Ross has now left Storage and marketing to another manager as he is now the Operations and Human Resources manager. His hobbies are memorizing every stat that has ever happened in the NBA and speed walking. " I am extremely quick with my times in speed walking. My dog can barely keep up at times but only the strong survive." One of the values Ross works to embody is Care: To have compassion for family, customers, co-workers, and community.

Kyle was brought onto the management team after a few years of working with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK throughout his summers away from Ball State. He graduated in 2019 with a business administration degree. He is from Valpo and and graduated from Valparaiso High School in 2015. Outside of work Kyle enjoys cooking/grilling, being an active member of the chamber of commerce and ambassadors, and enjoying time outside work spent with family and friends. The core value of "Give back to the community" is one he takes to heart as he was tasked with leading the charge for our annual MOVERS FOR MOMS Drive, which resulted in the highest yield to date we have had for the event resulting in benefiting the community we are a part of with all donations going to battered persons/families. We are glad to have him as an asset to our team and Two Men and a Truck family.

Angelique joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team in April 2024 after over a decade as coordinator for Coach USA out of O'Hare, Angelique is also a veteran, and we thank her for her service. She has an awesome family with a son and grandchildren who she enjoys spending time riding bicycles, playing Xbox and PlayStation, and playing outside. Beyond spending time with family, Angelique enjoys cooking, baking, playing video games, and rides on her motorcycle. Although she just joined the office, she brings with her years of experience, a fantastic attitude, and is a crucial component to this team. She embodies many of the core values of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK but loves THE GRANDMA RULE®: To treat everyone the way you would want your Grandma to be treated. We are lucky to have such a great new team member and welcome aboard Angelique.

Jazmine joined the Crown Point TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team this summer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, cat, and significant other. She has experience not only in the customer service industry but also in management. Jazmine's desire to help others and strive for better results each day are just two of her strengths. Jazmine's favorite core value is Care: To have compassion for family, customers, co-workers, and community. Welcome to the team and get it moving with Jazmine.

Tony has been a loyal employee and driver of ours for over 5 years! Tony is our most recent "King of Cards" being the highest-rated mover or driver in our reply card contest this month. He achieved this feat by getting all 5s on each survey returned last month and having more than anyone else. Tony knows all of the Core Values but says his favorite is Care: To have compassion for family, customers, co-workers, and community. Tony loves cars and enjoys working on a project car he has in addition to keeping his own car in tip-top shape. Tony also enjoys spending time with his kids and family when he has days off. Tony is a valued employee and we are happy to have had Tony around for the last 5 years and hope to keep him around for many more. Keep up the great work Tony!
