Community Service in Lake County
We truly are the "Movers Who Care®" and we care about giving back to the community. In 2016 we have been able to give back over $28,000 in services to a variety of local charities and organizations throughout Lake County. We hope to top that number in 2017. The American Cancer Society, Fellowship Housing, Veterans Assistance and Respiratory Health Association are a few of the main organization’s we have worked with over the year to help people in and around our community.
Movers for Moms®
Mother’s Day should be a joyous occasion for all mothers and their families. Sadly, that is not always the case. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is dedicated to changing that with our Movers for Moms® collection drive.Leading up to Mother’s Day, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will be collecting essential care items for moms in crisis throughout the Lake County. We will then be delivering our donations to A SAFE PLACE.
Partnerships and organizations
American Cancer Society
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mundelein has partnered with the ACS for the last 12 years to help bring support and awareness to those suffering from cancer in our community. Through ASC Relay for Life events, money is raised to help fight this disease and give more people birthdays. We look forward to a day when the world is cancer free.
Respiratory Health Association
RHA has been a public health leader in metropolitan Chicago since 1906. Today, they address asthma, COPD, lung cancer, tobacco control and air quality with a comprehensive approach involving research, education and advocacy activities. One of the events we have been helping with over the years has been COWALUNGA, which has given us an opportunity to give back in a way that is truly unique and fun. Can't wait for 2017.
Be sure to check out our Facebook Page for updates regarding this event and others we plan for 2017.
Mover for Mom's
Every year we partner with local Women's Shelters and collect items to help those in need. We then deliver the items on Mothers day each year. Call our office today to learn more about this wonderful program that helps so many.
