Community Service in Lake County
We truly are the "Movers Who Care®" and we care about giving back to the community. In 2019 we have been able to give back over $32,000 in services to a variety of local charities and organizations throughout Lake County. We hope to top that number in 2020. With the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our charitable efforts might be limited to charity events and services that are safe for our employees. Movers for Moms
Mother’s Day should be a joyous occasion for all mothers and their families. Sadly, that is not always the case. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is dedicated to changing that with our Movers for Moms® collection drive.Leading up to Mother’s Day, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will be collecting essential care items for moms in crisis throughout the Lake County. We will then be delivering our donations to A SAFE PLACE.
We’re beyond grateful to say that our 2021 Movers for Moms® program partnership with WINGS was a success! This local organization helps hundreds of people affected by domestic violence each year. Through Movers for Moms®, 750 essential care items were collected and delivered to WINGS for Mother’s Day!
We’d like to extend our gratitude to WINGS for partnering with us, as well as everyone else who helped to make this year’s Movers for Moms® hugely successful!
Movers For Mutt's
We’re focused on giving back this fall and as part of that effort, we’re partnering with Tails Of The Forgotten Paws INC., for our MOVERS FOR MUTTS® program! We’ll be hosting a collection drive from Wednesday, November 1 to Thursday, November 30 to collect treats and necessary items to give to their animals in need. Cowalunga
For the fifth-straight year, our Lake County team is sponsoring the CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour! This event raises funds and awareness for the Respiratory Health Association and proceeds from the event go a long way in helping with their mission to prevent lung disease, promote clean air, and help people live healthier lives.
We’ll provide bike transportation for all three days of the event and will also have a nine-person team riding. We can’t wait to see all of you there!
Relay For Life
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mundelein has partnered with the ACS for the last 12 years to help bring support and awareness to those suffering from cancer in our community. Through ASC Relay for Life events, money is raised to help fight this disease and give more people birthdays. We look forward to a day when the world is cancer free.
Respiratory Health Association
Giving back is what we do here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, and that’s why we are happy to work with the Respiratory Health Association!
For the last 25 years, they have proudly hosted the CowaLUNGa Charity Bike Tour, where loyal riders bike to raise awareness for healthy lungs and clean air. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has served as the transportation for the bikes for five years, and we can’t wait to once again be part of it this summer!
