Everything went well despite the fact that because of the snow and ice the movers could not get the truck up the hill for loading. Everything had to be carried down the hill.
At the destination the movers had a list to items to be placed inside the house. The cushions from the sofa and chair were not placed in the house. Our concern was that since this is a rural subdivision mice could get into the cushions.

The crew did not show up till noon the first day. There were several items damaged from not being secured in the truck properly. Many items were not moved because of the late start the first day and poor utilization of space while packing / loading the truck. I did not pout in a damage claim but reflecting back I should have.

Office contact was great. The 4 guys on the team communicated well with us. We did find a couple of dings that we don't think were there before the move and there were a couple of tough situations where someone with more experience would have figured out, but they had good attitudes. (Just gave up to quickly. Wasn't perfect, but pretty good.

Chase, Immanuel, & Nic did a really good job moving all of my mom's furniture. They were friendly, helpful, and explained everything well. We have found no damage to any of her belongings and the houses were both left unharmed.
