Helpful Tips
To help prepare for your future move, please be sure to know and have the following:
- An inventory list: the more thorough and precise your list is, the better our customer service representatives can estimate how long your move will take. We suggest going through your home room by room and writing down all the items that you will need to be moved. Doing this will also help our team estimate your moving supplies, such as boxes, tape, and stretch wrap the help properly pack and safely move all your items.
- If you are doing the packing, make sure that every single box is labeled, specifically breakables. Also, attempt to put as many things in boxes as you can as it helps speed up the moving process. If we are packing for you, please make note of your items, i.e., breakables, dishware, etc.
- If you live in or are moving to an apartment complex that will require an elevator, please make sure to let us know in advance. Also, if possible, try to reserve the elevator so other residents are not around and the moving team does not have to wait as this will increase your move time
