Giving Back to Our Community
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge/McDonough is deeply involved with the South Atlanta community. We work with the local food bank,
volunteer with the local Helping in his Hands Ministry(opens in a new window), and execute pick-ups for Bonner Brothers Transitional Homes(opens in a new window) in Lithonia – an organization dedicated to helping veterans and others to get back on their feet. Additionally, we have participated in an Annual Coat Drive, “We Got You Covered,” where over 500 coats were collected and handed out from our trucks to those in need. We also have the pleasure of working with Toys for Tots annually and have donated more than $15,000 worth of move-related services over the past few years.
Giving back to the community is a part of our fabric at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge/McDonough. We consistently work to “Move People Forward®” and apply THE GRANDMA RULE®, which is treating everyone the way we would want our own Grandma to be treated on each and every move. We feel giving back to the local community is very important and the only way to do business. By building relationships and providing help to people in need, we keep the love flowing full circle and are able to give back to the community that has supported our growth over the years. Whether you are moving locally in and around Stockbridge, Jonesboro, McDonough, or moving long-distance, our philosophy of Customer Service and Community involvement never waivers.

Movers for Moms®
Our 2024 MOVERS FOR MOMS® has concluded, and we are thrilled by the community outreach and support. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to collect over 1000 items such as shampoos, soaps, toiletries, and a plethora of other items that will be a huge help for women and children who are currently residing at Haven House in McDonough. MOVERS FOR MOMS® is an annual program that takes place in the spring, and we are always humbled by the social engagement. The initiative is designed to support women and children who are the victims of domestic violence and as a brand, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is committed to contributing in any way that we can.
Movers for Mutts®
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge is thrilled to announce our upcoming MOVERS FOR MUTTS® program, in partnership with the Henry County Humane Society. Since 2016, our collaboration has seen tremendous success, aiding countless dogs and cats in need. This annual event focuses on collecting essential supplies such as food, toys, and bedding for local shelters. Our community’s generous donations have made a significant impact, providing much-needed support for our friends in fur. Join us this year in making a difference—donate today and help us continue our mission of supporting the animals of Henry County!

FRANCHISE ACTION NETWORK
Our team is a proud participant in the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Franchise Action Network. Members of our management and ownership teams travel to Washington DC each September to literally march on Capitol Hill. We are able to have face-to-face time with our elected officials including Congressman David Scott, and Senators David Perdue and Johnny Isakson. These meetings are crucial to not only the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand,but small businesses all over the state of Georgia as we are able to discuss issues in a in-depth fashion, such as Joint Employer legislation and the pending Overtime Rule that can adversely impact employers all over our great state. We invite all South Atlanta franchise businesses to join this campaign with us so that we can all make a positive change in legislation.
