Giving Back to Our Community
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge/McDonough is deeply involved with the South Atlanta community. We work with the local food bank,
volunteer with the local Helping in his Hands Ministry(opens in a new window), and execute pick-ups for Bonner Brothers Transitional Homes(opens in a new window) in Lithonia – an organization dedicated to helping veterans and others to get back on their feet. Additionally, we have participated in an Annual Coat Drive, “We Got You Covered,” where over 500 coats were collected and handed out from our trucks to those in need. We also have the pleasure of working with Toys for Tots annually and have donated more than $15,000 worth of move-related services over the past few years.
Giving back to the community is a part of our fabric at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge/McDonough. We consistently work to “Move People Forward®” and apply THE GRANDMA RULE®, which is treating everyone the way we would want our own Grandma to be treated on each and every move. We feel giving back to the local community is very important and the only way to do business. By building relationships and providing help to people in need, we keep the love flowing full circle and are able to give back to the community that has supported our growth over the years. Whether you are moving locally in and around Stockbridge, Jonesboro, McDonough, or moving long-distance, our philosophy of Customer Service and Community involvement never waivers.

Movers for Moms®
MOVERS FOR MOMS® is here! Our 2024 campaign has launched, and we are excited to work with Haven House in McDonough again! This annual initiative is designed to help women and children who are victims of domestic violence have a chance at a fresh start. Each spring, we work within our Southside of Atlanta communities to collect much needed supplies such as clothing and toiletries, all while driving awareness for the troubles that thousands of women and children experience each year. We deliver all the items that were collected to Haven House on Mother's Day in hopes that we can help as many people as possible. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is all about giving back. It's so important that it's one of the company's Core Values.
Movers for Mutts®
The 2023 version of our MOVERS FOR MUTTS® program has reached its completion. Each year, we are excited to partner with the Henry County Humane Society to help South Atlanta area dogs and cats find their forever homes. Each year, this initiative has gotten better and better and 2023 was no different. Thanks to amazing people like you, we were able to raise much-needed money all while accepting donations of food, towels, toys, and blankets to help animals who currently reside at the Humane Society. One of our core values at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is Giving Back. MOVERS FOR MUTTS® is one of the many ways that we do just that.

FRANCHISE ACTION NETWORK
Our team is a proud participant in the International Franchise Association's (IFA) Franchise Action Network. Members of our management and ownership teams travel to Washington DC each September to literally march on Capitol Hill. We are able to have face-to-face time with our elected officials including Congressman David Scott, and Senators David Perdue and Johnny Isakson. These meetings are crucial to not only the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand,but small businesses all over the state of Georgia as we are able to discuss issues in a in-depth fashion, such as Joint Employer legislation and the pending Overtime Rule that can adversely impact employers all over our great state. We invite all South Atlanta franchise businesses to join this campaign with us so that we can all make a positive change in legislation.
