A business dedicated to the Tallahassee community
As the city of Tallahassee has continued to grow, so have our community efforts. Through our involvement with local non-profits and professional organizations such as the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tallahassee, and Volunteer Florida, we've established firm roots in the local communities of Tallahassee and have found new ways to give back to those in need. We've also leveraged these contacts to launch some of our own initiatives, such as Movers for Meals® and Movers for Moms®, which involve raising donations for local shelters and food banks in Tallahassee. We seek to help those in our community who are battling homelessness, hunger, financial trouble, or domestic violence.
If you'd like to participate in any of our community campaigns or would like to partner with us on another local initiative, please call our office directly and ask to speak with our General Manager, Tom.
Please take a look below for more information on current, past, and future campaigns.

Local Partners
WHO WE PLAY FOR
In 2016, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® - Tallahassee began our partnership organization, Who We Play For. Their mission is to ‘Reduce the incidence of sudden cardiac death in teens and young adults by providing affordable cardiac screening and increasing awareness'. Because routine student physicals are only 1% effective, and most heart problems show no symptoms, Who We Play For brings heart screenings to local schools offering young athletes the opportunity to receive an electrocardiogram for less than the cost of lunch. We assist Who We Play For by providing transportation, set-up, and break down of equipment for local heart screenings. Additionally, Who We Play For is a beneficiary of our monthly Pay it Forward initiative.
Girls on the Run of the Big Bend
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® - Tallahassee is passionate about the values Girls on the Run Big Bend represents is committed to supporting them as they continue to make a huge difference in the lives young girls. Girls on the Run of the Big Bend aims to “Inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.” Twice yearly, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® - Tallahassee volunteers both crews and trucks to help with their GOTR 5K held in the spring and fall in Tallahassee.

In the spring, Hang Tough hosts their annual Grit & Glitz Gala to raise money for these children and families. We are honored to donate a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® swag box with plenty of official gear, restaurant gift cards, and a $200 Gift Certificate towards the cost of a move. We also choose to Pay it Forward to support the Hang Tough Foundation.
