Meet the St. Augustine Team

I joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in 2015 in Salt Lake City, UT, and have since embraced the shift from snowy mountains to sunny shores. My favorite Core Value here is to "be your best and have fun!" I take great satisfaction in managing our franchise operations with a positive mindset and a sense of humor. I truly appreciate the incredible team we have, as each member contributes their unique professionalism to our success. Outside of work, I enjoy family time and experimenting with new recipes for my backyard smoker!

I embarked on my journey with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in June 2021. I loved my time on the trucks, where I had the chance to meet amazing people and explore new locations. On my very first day, I noticed a poster that highlighted that one in three franchises started with a front-line employee. This resonated with me deeply, as owning my own business has always been a goal of mine. Just under a year later, I was thrilled to be offered a management role, and I couldn’t be happier with that choice. The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team has been fantastic, and I truly enjoy collaborating with everyone here.

My name is Austin Tackett, and I've recently relocated from Dayton, Ohio, where I served as the Operations Manager. My long-term aspiration is to become a franchise owner with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. In the meantime, my focus is on helping people navigate their moves and easing the challenges that come with such a significant life transition!

I began my journey with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in April 2014 at the Lansing, Michigan, location. After gaining experience with both the local franchise and the corporate office, I made the move to Florida in March 2016. In my daily role, I take on various responsibilities, relishing the opportunity to support both our employees and customers in embracing our brand. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and enjoying the warm Florida sunshine.

I was born raised and in Indiana and spent a few years in Michigan, but I’ve called Jacksonville and St. Augustine my home since March of 2016. We recently moved my Mother down from Indiana, so it’s truly special to be surrounded by family here in my new hometowns. The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core value that resonates for me is “Give back to the community”. To be able to make a difference in the communities of the First Coast region we serve is very rewarding to not only me, but everyone here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK!

I grew up in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, before making the move to Jacksonville in the summer of 2014. The transition across the country was significant, but I quickly adapted and now happily call Jacksonville home. In my free time, I cherish moments with my family—cookouts and movie nights are our go-to ways to connect! Each morning, I look forward to coming into the office, energized by the positive atmosphere created by my colleagues. My time with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has been incredibly educational, and I’m thrilled to be part of such a fantastic team!

I relocated to Jacksonville from the North, and while the change was significant, I adjusted quickly. I studied the arts in college, and I have a passion for painting and drawing, finding beauty in everything around me. In my free time, I enjoy cookouts, traveling, and spending quality moments with my family and pets. When I’m not on the go, I love snuggling on the couch with my fur baby, Pete, while watching my favorite movies and shows. I truly appreciate the lively atmosphere in the office, filled with laughter, jokes, and positivity. I’m grateful to be a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® family!

Hello! I’m originally from Bermuda, but I’ve spent the majority of my life in Jacksonville, Florida. In my free time, you’ll often find me at the gym or immersed in a good book. Reading has become a cherished hobby for me in recent years, and I truly enjoy it. I’ve been warmly welcomed by the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team, and I love being surrounded by such fun and supportive people every day. I’m always eager to assist in any way I can and look forward to helping you soon!

As a Move Specialist, I dedicate my day to assisting customers with their local and interstate relocations. I bring a diverse professional background, having worked as a Medical Technologist, Senior Loan Officer, and in management roles within a call center. In my leisure time, I love to connect with family and friends, pursuing interests like photography, landscaping, and horseback riding.
