Movers for Meals® 2025 — From Schools to Seniors

This year’s Movers for Meals® campaign brought together incredible teachers, students, and staff from across St. Johns County Schools, helping collect more than 2,000 pounds of pantry items to support Pie in the Sky Community Alliance and the seniors they serve. We’re so proud of our community’s kindness — and thankful for every classroom, family, and volunteer who made this possible. Together, we’re showing what neighbors helping neighbors truly means.

Movers for Moms® 2026 – Delivered With Love

Just in time for Mother’s Day, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® St. Augustine completed our 2026 Movers for Moms® deliveries to local shelters supporting women and children throughout Northeast Florida.

We are incredibly grateful for every school, scout group, business, community partner, friend, and family member who helped make this year’s campaign such a success. What began as donation collection boxes throughout our community turned into an amazing outpouring of generosity, compassion, and support.

Movers for Moms® History – St. Augustine

2024 Movers for Moms® – A Community Effort

With the support of eight St. Johns County schools and partners including Atlantic Self Storage, Exit 1 Stop Realty, Elizabeth Water Wells, Realtor®, and local Cub Scout troops, we collected over 24,000 personal care items and non-perishable foods. These donations were delivered to Sulzbacher Village, Betty Griffin Center, and Quigley House, providing comfort to local mothers and children in need.

2023 Movers for Moms® – Record-Breaking Support

Students, parents, and teachers across St. Johns County worked alongside community partners to collect over 29,000 diapers, personal care items, food, and handmade Mother’s Day cards. These items supported Hubbard House, Betty Griffin Center, and Quigley House, making 2023 one of our most impactful years yet.

2022 Movers for Moms® – Expanding Our Reach

In 2022, St. Johns County schools joined forces with community partners to extend support to Hubbard House (Jacksonville), Betty Griffin Center, Alpha-Omega Miracle Home (St. Augustine), and Quigley House (Green Cove Springs). Highlights included a kickoff at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and a corporate match from Winn-Dixie, which doubled the number of donated items.

2021 Movers for Moms® – A Huge Success

Our 11th annual Movers for Moms® campaign saw incredible participation from local schools and community groups, helping us collect over 21,000 personal care items. Special care packages included makeup, perfume, skin, and hair accessories for moms at Hubbard House and Betty Griffin Center.

Forfifteen years, our St. Augustine team has been proud to partner with local schools, PTOs, and families to make Movers for Moms® a success. Year after year, the dedication of our St. Johns County community ensures moms in need receive comfort, dignity, and hope on Mother’s Day.

Atlantic Self Storage is a trusted local partner supporting both our customers and our community initiatives. They are our go-to partner when customers need dependable storage solutions during the moving process, helping ensure a smooth transition when storage is required.

Atlantic Self Storage also supports our Movers for Moms® campaign by assisting with donation efforts and providing resources that help our team collect and organize essential items for mothers and families in need. Their continued involvement helps strengthen the impact of this program throughout St. Johns County.

Local Cub Scout troops in St. Johns County have generously supported our Movers for Moms® campaign by helping collect and organize donated items for mothers in need. Their participation reflects a shared commitment to service, teamwork, and giving back to the community.

We are grateful for the scouts, leaders, and families who return year after year to support this effort and help make Movers for Moms® a meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Pie in the Sky St. Johns is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing groceries to seniors in need throughout St. Johns County. Their work supports older adults facing food insecurity and helps ensure consistent access to nutritious meals.

Through our Movers for Meals® program, our team has partnered with Pie in the Sky St. Johns to support food collection and delivery efforts made possible through community participation. We’re proud to support organizations that help care for our neighbors during times of need.

We are proud to work alongside St. Johns County Schools, supporting several local schools throughout the district through community programs that encourage service, compassion, and giving back. Schools regularly partner with our team during Movers for Moms® and Movers for Meals® by hosting collection drives and engaging students, staff, and families in helping neighbors in need.

These school-based efforts foster a strong sense of community while making a meaningful impact across St. Johns County. We’re grateful for the educators, students, and families who consistently step up to show what it means to care for others and support local causes together.

Wreaths Across America

Each year, our team is honored to participate in Wreaths Across America at the St. Augustine National Cemetery, standing alongside veterans, service members, volunteers, and community partners to remember and honor those who served our country.

We are deeply grateful to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, the Veterans Council of St. Johns County, the Friends of VEMA St. Johns County, and the Veteran Enforcers Motorcycle Association (VEMA) for their leadership, coordination, and the meaningful motorcycle escort that helped make the day so powerful and respectful.

Behind every meaningful community event are the people who show up with heart, respect, and purpose. Seeing so many individuals come together in honor and remembrance is a reminder of why community matters.

We are proud to support efforts that ensure our fallen heroes are remembered with dignity, gratitude, and care. Moments like these reflect the true spirit of service and why giving back remains a core part of who we are.
