TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Moms®

Every year for our MOVERS FOR MOMS® Campaign, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Panama City partners with a local women's shelter to support for Mother's Day. They collect essentials and gifts for Mom. For 2019, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Panama City partnered with Longleaf Out Reach and Development's The Evers House(opens in a new window). “We help wonderful women have a safe place to live and work towards staying sober, getting their babies back, getting off probation and living a wonderful life,” said Cathy McClellan, Longleaf Out Reach and Development’s Founder. “We appreciate the help and are so grateful.” TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Panama City partners with numerous organizations and businesses in the area to collect these items from the community.

Movers for Mutts®

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City is hosting its annual MOVERS FOR MUTTS® campaign, a collection drive to provide essential items to pets and strays living in local shelters.

To assist the animal shelters that provide and care for these animals, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City hosts the program from September to November. We work with local schools, pet supply stores, veterinarian clinics, and business organizations to collect pet care essentials for The Humane Society of Bay County.

The Humane Society of Bay County is a local non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. They offer a no-kill facility in Bay County, Florida. Their mission is to end the needless destruction of homeless animals in our community by operating a no-kill shelter and providing protection, education, services, and support for companion animals and their families. For more information about their services and adoption events, go to adoptme.org.

To donate to the Humane Society, please see the Wish List and drop off locations below. Donations will be delivered to the Humane Society on November 21st.

850 Strong Charm Campaign

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City is so proud to be a part of The L.H. Bead Gallery “850 Strong” Campaign. Through the campaign, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City  donated $1,000 to the Callaway Elementary Cougars! 100 percent of the proceeds from purchasing 850 Strong charms at The L.H. Bead Gallery go directly to local school community members, teachers, faculty, staff, and families in need as a result of Hurricane Michael.

Charms are $10, and each school receives $6,000. The L.H. Bead Gallery needs $2,000 more to complete the Callaway Elementary Cougars’ goal! The campaign started in November, and The L.H. Bead Gallery's goal is to help 12 schools in 12 months. Let's help them tackle the last three schools and reach their goal!

You can come to The L.H. Bead Gallery at 550 Harrison Avenue, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to purchase a charm. Stay awhile and decorate them with beads of all kinds or make a necklace, bracelet, keyring, or earrings – the possibilities are endless!

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City challenges surrounding area businesses to match our $1,000 donation. We only need 20 businesses to commit to donating $1,000 to reach 12 schools in 12 months!

*Each company will receive the amount of charms they donate for, i.e. $1,000 = 100 charms. Use them for your coworkers, your clients, etc. Cash and check donations are encouraged to lower the card fees accrued by The L.H. Bead Gallery.

We’d like to give a special shout out and thank you to Dani Streichert, Bay County and Panama City Beach Chambers of Commerce Ambassador, and Philomena Mannino Martrain, and the Bay County Chamber of Commerce Member Account Executive for coming to support TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Corks 'N Canvases

Corks 'N Canvases is a wine and craft beer tasting and art auction event to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. Every year, community leaders and everyone who supports Big Brothers Big Sisters gets together for this fun-filled evening complete with live entertainment!

More than 650 children were mentored by a Big Brother or Big Sister in Northwest Florida last year. Of those, 104 were in Bay County. Studies show their mentoring programs have proven positive academic and behavioral outcomes for youth in areas linked to high school graduation, avoidance of juvenile delinquency and college readiness. Mentoring makes a BIG difference in the community!

We are happy to be a part of this celebration event on August 10th. We are always glad for the opportunity to support the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City is their annual Red Carpet Sponsor.

Their comprehensive, intentional after school and out-of-school day programming focuses on the development of the whole girl. LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY RETREAT

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Panama City has helped Lighthouse Family Retreat for many years. The organization serves children and their families battling cancer, by hosting close to twenty retreats in Santa Rosa Beach each year. They have helped hundreds of families in their time of need by providing a space to relax, reconnect, and forget about the hardships they face everyday.

We help Lighthouse stage and promote their events by donating trucks and movers’ time on the weekend of the retreats. The men who go out every year say they are proud to be a part of this charity cause.
