Supporting East Orlando's Community

Orlando Chili Cook Off

The Orlando East office was excited to be a community sponsor of the 8th annual Orlando Chili Cook Off which was held on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Festival Park. Special events were a World Chili Eating Challenge, Kids' Zone and Paparazzi Zone along with a number of bands that performed throughout the day. Presented by Northwestern Mutual Greater Orlando and Orlando Weekly proceeds benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand, whose mission is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, and Kiwanis International whose members serve the specific needs of the Orlando community.

Movers for Mutts

The Orlando East franchise completed its first annual Movers for Mutts campaign in October of 2016.  We partnered with Aunt B's Pet Grooming, Pine Castle Animal Hospital and All 4 Pets Belle Isle to collect items from a Wish List provided by Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. We believe it's important to give back to our community and our Movers for Mutts program is one way to accomplish that by helping our furry friends! If you would like to participate in this year's Movers for Mutts collection drive, please contact our office.

Movers for Moms®

One of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s core values is giving back to our community.  Each year we participate in the Movers for Moms®

program.  In 2017 we partnered with Harbor House of Central Florida as our 2017 recipient. We collected over 1000 items from Pure Barre Mills Park, Pure Barre Dr. PhillipsConway Learning CenterKindercare and Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Living out our company core value of giving back to the community is something we take to heart and we are always looking for opportunities to lend a hand. Please contact our office if you'd like to help with Movers For Moms in 2018 or if you would like us to consider a charitable move for your organization.

We are happy to support many deserving organizations such as Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Council of 101 - Orlando Museum of Art and Family Promise

american cancer society

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was privileged to provide moving services to the American Cancer Society in support of the Cattle Baron's Ball fundraiser in April, 2016.  Dyan Goodman, American Cancer Society Development Manager, had this to say about the service provided: "Once again TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®  came through with amazing movers that were efficient, pleasant and trustworthy. We could not thank you more for making our transport effortless, smooth and accurate. Many thanks to the 3 gentleman who moved on Friday April 15th and Monday April 18th. You are outstanding and fabulous. I could not have managed without your services."

Family Promise of Greater Orlando

Family Promise of Greater Orlando (FPGO) is a nonprofit, interfaith hospitality network providing temporary assistance, hospitality, and case management for families with children experiencing homelessness. Family Promise provides these services through the participation of local congregations, dedicated staff, and hundreds of volunteers.

March of dimes

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Orlando East is getting ready to participate in the March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day spent with people who share a passion for improving the health of babies. There will be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends. It's great feeling knowing we're all helping real families in the quest for healthy babies.
