Focused on our Ft. Myers community

We believe that it is important to be involved in the community and that is why we are active members of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce and Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. We will be participating again in this year's Festival of Trees to benefit Goodwill Industries of SWFL by delivering Christmas trees and raffle items.

Movers for Mutts®

We were happy to partner with PAWS Assistance Dogs of Naples for this year's Movers for Mutts campaign!  We collected items from the PAWS Assistance Dogs wish list in order to assist their organization in accomplishing their goal of promoting independence for combat wounded veterans and children with life-changing disabilities through partnerships with skilled assistance dogs.  Our collection partners were: Pure Barre Estero, Pure Barre Naples and Gulfshore Animal Hospital. We thank these businesses and their staff and clients for helping to collect donations for a worthy cause!

Movers for Moms®

We participated for the fourth year in our Movers for Moms® annual spring campaign. We collected essential care donations for mothers and children who are served by The Shelter for Abused Women and Children in Naples, Florida. All gifts were delivered in time for Mother's Day. We are thankful for our local partners who sponsor donation sites. This year we are partnering with Pure Barre Estero, Pure Barre Naples, Central Bank of Naples and Fort Myers and Wellington Academy in Fort Myers.

Movers for Military

Our Movers for Military program began as a fall campaign but has grown to a year-round campaign to support the American Legion in their quest to find housing for homeless veterans in Collier and Lee counties. To date, more than 100 veterans have received housing, thanks to the efforts, leadership, and heart of Kevin Boyd and his team at Post 38. Throughout the year, we are blessed to collect furniture donations that go directly to the veterans, and are lucky enough to bring them monthly deliveries of gently used furniture and clothing. Our location also actively collects food donations to help with the newly opened food pantry. We are proud to help those who have given everything for our country and are eternally grateful to Harns Marsh Elementary and Fort Myers Institute of Technology for their loyal and amazing support of our program.

We continually strive to live out the company core value of giving back to the community. In 2014, we donated $15,000 in moving services to numerous local foundations, including The Barbara Watt Foundation, Builder's Care, Dress for Success, Camelot Community Care, The American Legion, Goodwill Industries of SW Florida, Southwest Florida Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and many others.
