Your Volusia County “Movers Who Care®”

March's Employee of the Month
Josh Griffin
This month Mr. Griffin received the most Customer feedback cards. When asked what it means to Mr. Griffin to accomplish this he stated, it tells me that Customers are recognizing the hard work and effort that goes into each move. Moving is already stressful for most people and certainly time consuming so it feels good knowing Customers took extra time from their schedule to provide feedback. It feels good knowing that my hard work is paying off. Mr. Griffin enjoys the opportunity to go to new places and meeting new people. He loves that each day will be unique. We asked Josh what one of the biggest challenges he has encountered thus far and how he overcame it. He said, one of the biggest challenges was when we moved a very large and heavy piece of furniture downstairs. It took a lot of teamwork and creativity to get it down. My partner and I worked together using furniture pads and forearm straps to successfully navigate the stairs. But, I will never forget that piece. When asked what he is looking forward to the most he stated that he is about to start driving interstate (out of state) moves so he is really looking forward to traveling more and of course continuing to meet new people in different areas of the world.

I have enjoyed being a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team for nearly six years now. I truly enjoy being a part of people's lives and helping them with the transition that a move can bring. I love that we are the "Movers Who Care®". We are like a giant family and we try to treat our customers the same. Moving can be stressful at times and I like that we try to go above and beyond what is necessary to make sure our Customers are happy. Outside of work, family is a large part of my life. I adore spending time with my loved ones. I also appreciate traveling to see and learn about other cultures. I am excited about what the future holds and the success that our team can achieve this year at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® .

I have been with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® since December 5th, 2013. I really enjoy working for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® because it's like a family. That's probably why my favorite core value is "Be your best and have fun". Every move and every Customer is different, we strive to meet and exceed our Customer's expectations. In the coming year I will continue to be, and do my best in exceeding our Customer's expectations during this stressful time in their life. When I'm not working I enjoy the beach and family.

I've been with the company since September of 2006. What started off as and cool way to make some extra cash turned into something completely life changing for me. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has allowed me to directly change the lives of our Customers every day, helping them in what is some times a very difficult step. I come from a very large, close, and culturally diverse family. I was lucky to find the same thing with our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. We try to treat all of our Customers as if they are family. We look out for them, do our best to take care of them and know that each one is a little different. In my personal life I enjoy just about anything outdoors, anything that goes fast and anything that will give me a little bit of an adrenaline boost. I try to find humor and beauty in life wherever possible. I am also a people person but oddly enough I am still very quiet and reserved.

I am going on my 2nd year with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and everyday is a little different and new beginning for me. As the in home move consultant it is an amazing feeling to meet the Customers that keeps our business going. I feel fortunate to be able to help them through one of the top three most stressful events in their lives.....moving. This is why the grandma rule is so important to me. I want to treat every one of our Customers the way I would want my grandmother to be treated. Outside of work I love taking adventures. I also like seeing and trying new things. I am a huge sports fan and in particular basketball. Go Bulls!
