Your Volusia County “Movers Who Care®”

Kennith Subick
Employee of the Month
What I like most about working here is I really like the bond I am able to build with each Customer. Often times I can see their stress fade throughout the move and by the end it almost feels like I just moved a friend instead of just a Customer. I also enjoy going on out of state moves because I like traveling to new places. So far my biggest challenge was when I was first hired at Two Men and a Truck I thought I only wanted to be a helper. I didn’t really have much interest in advancing within the company. With some encouragement from management and as I gained more experience I decided to give it a shot and now I am a lead trainer! It makes me feel good knowing I can pass along what I’ve learned to new employees. I was sort of surprising to get employee of the month because I don’t really come in expecting special recognition, but it does feel good to be recognized. It makes me feel like my hard work and dedication is paying off. In the future I’d like to move into some sort of management position. I’d like to get more involved in managing the fleet and warehouse. I have already hit many of my goals and I really like working on the trucks, so it would be difficult for this transition but I am sure I can make it work. Some of my favorite or most memorable moves are any moves where we would be helping Customers who is in a dire situations whether it’s related to a disaster or for some other reason. I feel proud knowing that I’m helping someone who really truly needs help. The other move that comes to mind was a move we completed for an NFL player. Even though he was an NFL player he was so down to earth. He made us feel as if we were moving any other Customer. He also showed us his memorabilia collection which was really cool.

I have enjoyed being a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team for nearly six years now. I truly enjoy being a part of people's lives and helping them with the transition that a move can bring. I love that we are the "Movers Who Care®". We are like a giant family and we try to treat our customers the same. Moving can be stressful at times and I like that we try to go above and beyond what is necessary to make sure our Customers are happy. Outside of work, family is a large part of my life. I adore spending time with my loved ones. I also appreciate traveling to see and learn about other cultures. I am excited about what the future holds and the success that our team can achieve this year at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® .

I have been with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® since December 5th, 2013. I really enjoy working for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® because it's like a family. That's probably why my favorite core value is "Be your best and have fun". Every move and every Customer is different, we strive to meet and exceed our Customer's expectations. In the coming year I will continue to be, and do my best in exceeding our Customer's expectations during this stressful time in their life. When I'm not working I enjoy the beach and family.

I've been with the company since September of 2006. What started off as and cool way to make some extra cash turned into something completely life changing for me. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has allowed me to directly change the lives of our Customers every day, helping them in what is some times a very difficult step. I come from a very large, close, and culturally diverse family. I was lucky to find the same thing with our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. We try to treat all of our Customers as if they are family. We look out for them, do our best to take care of them and know that each one is a little different. In my personal life I enjoy just about anything outdoors, anything that goes fast and anything that will give me a little bit of an adrenaline boost. I try to find humor and beauty in life wherever possible. I am also a people person but oddly enough I am still very quiet and reserved.
