Prospect Community Involvement

Being a positive presence in the community is an important value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Milford/Waterbury. Our goal is to work closely with community members and solve problems for those in need. Movers for Moms® is one of our favorite programs, which assists moms in need. We collect donations to deliver to women’s and family shelters across Connecticut.

This year we will be supporting Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury with our collection.  We are currently partnering with The Goddard School of Orange and West Haven Public Schools (Seth G. Haley Elementary and Washington Elementary) to gather donations.

If you would like to contribute to the collection, we are also collecting items at our office location (11 Industrial Road, Prospect, CT) or can pick up donations during your moves!

The women and children at Safe Haven could really benefit from any of the following:

Thank you in advance for your participation in the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Movers for Moms campaign.  We know each and every donation will be put to good use!

On June 20, 2026, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was proud to partner with the City of Milford and participate in the America 250 Parade, a community celebration honoring our nation's upcoming 250th birthday.

The event brought together local businesses, community organizations, and neighboring towns to celebrate America's history, heritage, and the strong communities that make our region special. Our team enjoyed connecting with residents, fellow business partners, and visitors while showcasing the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand and our commitment to serving the Milford area.

As a locally owned and operated business, we value opportunities to be involved in community events that bring people together. Participating in the America 250 Parade allowed us to celebrate our country's milestone anniversary while strengthening relationships with the communities we proudly serve every day.

We would like to thank the City of Milford for organizing this memorable event and everyone who came out to celebrate. We look forward to continuing to support local events and being an active part of the communities we call home.

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Milford/Waterbury was excited to participate in the Junior Woman’s Club of Milford’s annual Touch a Truck event! This community favorite brought families and local businesses together for a fun-filled day, and our team was thrilled to be part of the festivities.

We had a spooktacular time handing out candy to trick-or-treaters and welcoming children and families to explore our moving truck. Guests had the chance to sit in the driver’s seat, step inside the back of the truck, and search for spooky spiders hidden throughout our haunted moving-themed display!

Thanks to the creativity and hard work of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Milford/Waterbury team, we were named the best decorated truck of the event! We loved seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces and sharing a little Halloween fun with our community.

We would like to extend a big thank-you to the Junior Woman’s Club of Milford for organizing such a wonderful event and bringing local businesses and families together. At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we’re proud to be part of a community that makes giving back and creating meaningful connections a priority.

We had a fantastic time meeting everyone who stopped by our truck, and we’re already looking forward to participating again next year. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a memorable experience!
