Prospect Community Involvement

Being a positive presence in the community is an important value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Milford/Waterbury. Our goal is to work closely with community members and solve problems for those in need. Movers for Moms® is one of our favorite programs, which assists moms in need. We collect donations to deliver to women’s and family shelters across Connecticut.

This year we will be supporting Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury with our collection.  We are currently partnering with The Goddard School of Orange and West Haven Public Schools (Seth G. Haley Elementary and Washington Elementary) to gather donations.

If you would like to contribute to the collection, we are also collecting items at our office location (11 Industrial Road, Prospect, CT) or can pick up donations during your moves!

On June 20, 2026, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was proud to partner with the City of Milford and participate in the America 250 Parade, a community celebration honoring our nation's upcoming 250th birthday.

The event brought together local businesses, community organizations, and neighboring towns to celebrate America's history, heritage, and the strong communities that make our region special. Our team enjoyed connecting with residents, fellow business partners, and visitors while showcasing the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand and our commitment to serving the Milford area.

As a locally owned and operated business, we value opportunities to be involved in community events that bring people together. Participating in the America 250 Parade allowed us to celebrate our country's milestone anniversary while strengthening relationships with the communities we proudly serve every day.

We would like to thank the City of Milford for organizing this memorable event and everyone who came out to celebrate. We look forward to continuing to support local events and being an active part of the communities we call home.
