The local franchise was started in 1993 when good friends Eric St. Pierre and Jeff Walker drove into town with their first truck and a dream to build a successful business. They had always heard such good things about Colorado Springs, so they decided to make it their home. They have since grown the location to 26 trucks and 90 employees. They are proud winners of the Colorado Springs Business Journals’ Best in Business, 3 years in a row. They complete over 6,000 moves a year.
Professional moving services
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® movers must all complete our in-house training program which includes both classroom time, online training, videos, and physical training at our warehouse facility. They are trained the ins and outs of moving to include how to go above and beyond to protect customers’ belongings. This includes using proper equipment to protect both customers’ items and their home and property. They are shown how to protect a customer’s home with floor runners, door jamb protectors, and moving blankets. Furniture is also protected by padding and stretch wrapping, which not only protects it, but most times allows clothing to be left in dresser drawers. Employees must also pass a criminal background check and participate in a random drug testing program.

On-premise heavy lifting and rearrangments
Internal moving is another service we offer. If you are having your carpets or flooring re-done, we can move furniture out temporarily until your project is completed. The items can be moved to another part of the home, to the garage, or even to a storage. We will also move just a few pieces of furniture in a home if you just want a change and the items are too heavy for you to rearrange. Some of these furniture items include pianos, safes, refrigerators, or sleeper-sofas.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® understands the special care needed for senior moves. Our hard-working staff members have a reputation for being extremely helpful and caring. Again, they follow the GRANDMA RULE®: To treat everyone the way you would want your grandma treated. Our movers are fast and experienced which helps keep moving costs down. They will accommodate the rules and regulations of senor centers and as well as listen to specific instructions to ensure each move is efficient and stress-free. Any special instructions or needs? Save time with our packing services
Partial and full packing services are also a big part of what we offer. Many customers are either too busy or don’t have the professional knowledge on how to pack their belongings in order to prepare for a move. We offer this service for those that need the extra help. We can either do a full pack of an entire residence or a partial job, just focusing on the areas you prefer. A large number of customers hire us to do just the kitchen, garage, or china cabinet.
