Winner of The Business of the Year Award

On January 12th, 2017 we at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK-Sacramento we honored to take part in the Annual Recognition Gala, hosted by the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce. This event was to recognize those in the community that have excelled in their field and recognized as a member of the Chamber. This year we had the honor of being named Business of the Year, a title we do not take lightly. It is a show of our commitment to our values and to our community and we will strive to show this same dedication in the coming year!

Truckload of Warmth Wrap-Up!

Sacramento, California, November 30, 2017—TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Sacramento is wrapping up a successful donation campaign called Truck Load of Warmth . This collection drive provided critical gifts to local homeless; in effort to provide warm jackets, sleeping bags, tarps and more to ensure those in crisis receive some kind of help against the harsh winter months. The Sacramento moving company partnered with local organizations, such as Loaves and Fishes and the WEAVE to collect these items for the homeless community in the Sacramento Area.

Loaves and Fishes is a local homeless shelter that has been helping those in need since 1983. They provide hot meals, free mental health programs, a library, and day shelters for women and children. Since its founding Loaves and Fishes has strived to treat each person with dignity and respect offering rehabilitation services for those struggling with substance abuse.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Sacramento hosted the event throughout the months of September to early November, this being the first year they have participated in Truck Load of Warmth. With the generous support of the community, local organizations, and local businesses, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK collected over 5,000 items. Showing that this was a greater need the community needed and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK would be proud to continue.
