Dedication to Community Service in Glendale

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

MOVERS FOR MOMS

We are proud to support the community in which we work and live, and actively participate in the annual Movers for Moms® program, in which we partner with local businesses to collect essential care items for women living in local homeless or domestic abuse shelters around the time of Mother’s Day.

Local Partners

4 PAWS RESCUE SHELTER

4 Paws is a no-kill, non-profit, rescue shelter for cats that operates entirely on volunteer work. They provide temporary care in either foster homes or in a permanent shelter while facilitating adoption for the animals. They also cooperate with other rescue shelters that are dedicated to the care of animals in need. Income is provided by adoptions, memberships, fundraising events, and sales from their boutique. We have partnered with 4 Paws since 2010 to provide our services to pick up furniture and other items, once a month, to be sold at the boutique.

ARIZONA MILITARY ASISTANCE MISSION

The Arizona Military Assistance Mission, or AZMAM, was founded to provide financial support and morale aid to current active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors regardless of their overseas deployment status. They are dedicated to their mission and that is something we can relate to as well as support. Each Fall since 2015 we have worked together with AZMAM and the other TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchises in the valley to collect toys for the children of the military families at Luke Air Force Base.

Glendale Chamber of Commerce

As a local business invested in our community, we're proud to advertise our membership with the Glendale Chamber of Commerce(opens in a new window). The value that the Glendale Chamber adds to our community is unmatched. They support local businesses in countless ways and in return we do our best to support them in any way that we can as well.

HOSPICE OF THE VALLEY

Hospice of the Valley is Arizona's leading end-of-life care. HOV is among the oldest and largest not-for-profit hospices. Their mission is to provide comfort and dignity as life nears its end. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Northwest-Phoenix has a strong and valued relationship with our senior community and we are always happy to help Hospice of the Valley as they share our value in caring for our seniors.

La Frontera Empact

La Frontera Empact is a local suicide prevention center that is dedicated to making our community a safer and happier place. Their mission is to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. We've partnered with them to move furniture donated to individuals in need and will continue to support their cause as much as possible.

OCJ KIDS

OCJ Kids (Opportunity, Community, and Justice for Kids) is an amazing non-profit organization that started with the purpose of providing services, resources and caring adults to address the needs of foster children in the community. Because of this organization, children that would otherwise have nothing have clothes, toiletries, positive influence, and so much more. We have been blessed with the opportunity to deliver a truck load full of toys for the holidays to the children in this program.

Sojourner Center

Since 1977, Sojourner Center has provided support to thousands of women and children affected by domestic violence. It has become one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the United States. Because of Sojourner Center's caring and knowledgeable staff and volunteers, families traumatized by abuse discover hope and find the path to futures free from violence. We have been lucky to work with this great organization to get victims out of unsafe environments and also by organizing a collection drive across the valley for two months each year.

UMOM

UMOM is a local shelter for families in need. Their mission is to prevent and end homelessness with innovative strategies and housing solutions that meet the unique needs of each family and individual. They provide everything from emergency shelter to transitional housing, as well as permanent, affordable housing. We were fortunate enough to connect with them and provide free moves for families that are transitioning out of dangerous or unhealthy living conditions.
