Is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® licensed for interstate and intrastate moves?
- Yes! Our Grand Rapids North crews are licensed, bonded, and insured. We meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards and carry the insurance required to protect against property damage, cargo loss, and liability. You can feel confident knowing only authorized movers will handle your belongings.
How do you figure out the cost of a move?
- We keep it simple. Estimates are created based on the size of your move, the distance to your new location, and any packing supplies needed. Moves are billed hourly, and if extra time is needed, we track it in 15-minute increments for fairness.
What services do you provide?
- Our goal is to make your move as easy as possible. Along with traditional moving, we offer packing and unpacking, storage options, and load/unload support. You can choose the services that fit best, and our team will help you customize your plan.
What kind of coverage do you offer for belongings?
- We know your items are valuable, so we provide valuation protection. For local moves within 40 miles, your belongings are covered at current market value. For longer-distance moves, coverage is set at $6 per pound.
Do you charge extra fees for things like stairs or long walks?
- No hidden fees here. If your move involves stairs, narrow hallways, or longer carries, those details are included in your estimate from the beginning, so there are no surprises later.
What if something is damaged or lost?
- If an item is damaged during the move, we ask that it be reported within 96 hours, or our movers can record it on site. Our operations manager will then coordinate with trusted vendors to make sure your item is repaired or replaced quickly.
What’s your policy for delays or cancellations?
- We value your time. If our team doesn’t arrive within your two-hour window, we’ll discount your move by 10%. Cancellations or changes made at least 24 hours before your move are free of charge, while same-day cancellations carry only a one-hour labor fee.
