On one hand, I was able to schedule my move for the very next day after calling. They gave me a two hour window when they’d be there, which is standard, but I think they should call when they’re 20-30 minutes out to confirm when they’ll be there.
The move itself went fine, although the three movers that came were quiet and didn’t talk a lot. They did wrap up my treadmill nicely though and seemed to take their time with and not rush it.
However, when it arrived at the delivery address and was being set up they wrecked the wires so the treadmill currently does not work. It has not worked for over 5 business days (8 days in total and counting at the time of this review...). I was told on the day of the move that I’d hear from someone within 4-5 business days, which I did, but all that has been asked is for more information on model / type of product was wrecked to see if their electrician could fix it. This should have been asked by the moving team and making a customer wait almost a week just to hear back is unacceptable. So, I’m still left in the dark regarding when or if this will be fixed with no timetable or expected date. Again, this is unacceptable.
So while I’m happy they didn’t lie about it being damaged (would have been foolish to do since the wires are wrecked but hey, people have done stranger things), and the person I spoke with on the phone to set up the pickup/delivery was very nice and the move was quick and professional in manner, the end result is still the same - what they moved they wrecked and I’m still waiting for it to be fixed more than 8 days later. Which is disappointing.
