Growing because of our community
Charity is at the heart of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Seattle. One of our Core Values is "Give Back to the Community." Since opening in 2006, we have supported many charitable efforts including Movers for Moms®, Movers for Mutts®, Bikes for Africa and The Hope Festival. We not only like to help our customers "Move Forward", but the entire community.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms®
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® we pride ourselves on being part of a major national brand while building and maintaining strong ties to the local community. We partner with The Sophia Way for Movers for Moms® campaign. With help from community partners, we collect new toiletries and household goods for domestic violence victims just in time for Mother's Day.
Due to COVID-19, we are only collecting items from this Amazon Wish List. Once you purchase your item, it will be sent to The Sophia Way.
Movers for Mutts
Homeward Pet Adoption Center provides a place to rescue, rehabilitate, and find new homes for cats and dogs. They rely on community for volunteers and donations to help keep the organization running. We partner with businesses in the community to raise money and donations for the shelter. In 2018, we donated a WHOLE truck of food, toys and pet supplies. For 2019, we are working with the following partners:
Woodin Creek Village Apartments
Local Partners
Homes for Heroes
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is very proud to be working with Homes for Heroes. The organization is geared to helping military, fire fighters, police, first responders and other "heroes" in the community buy a home. We will be working with local partners to help make the moving part of the home purchase easier.
Hopelink
The local community food bank Hopelink is helping feed the region. The organization helps those in need who live in Seattle and the Eastisdie. Every year around the holiday season, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® teams with Hopelink to collect items for families in need. In 2017, we collected three trucks full toys and delivered it to Hopelink's warehouse in Redmond.
THE ARAS FOUNDATION
The ARAS Foundation holds a bicycle donation drive each year to benefit those in West Africa who want to go to school. The programs had humble beginings, but now it receives over 300 bikes each year. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® supplies a crew and truck to pick up the bikes from donation centers across the region. This year, our crew picked up three truckloads of bikes.
