Movers for Moms®
Each year, we actively promote our Movers for Moms® campaign to collect and distribute necessities for mothers who need assistance. Movers for Moms® is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s national campaign designed to assists mothers in need of clothing, food, household and other personal goods. We will have designated donation drop sites in the Memphis area throughout early spring. These donations are gathered up and distributed to designated shelters just in time for Mother’s Day. Keep an eye out for these locations and help us assist the women that are giving their time and energy to parent and grow the future of our great city while persevering through challenging life circumstances.
Movers for meals
This fall, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will be putting together our first annual Movers for Meals collection campaign. The Movers for Meals campaign will benefit the Memphis Union Mission. We have partnered with the organization to help supplement their efforts in feeding the hungry and homeless of our city during the holidays. The Union Mission does great work throughout the year housing and feeding the homeless around our city, and have great programs for homeless men and women that help them get back on their feet and become contributors in their communities. Please join us this fall in the fight against hunger in the great city of Memphis. Follow us on Facebook at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis to keep up with how the drive is going.
Serving in our Community
We work closely with Non-Profit organizations such as churches, veteran organizations, and hospitals. Our goal is to ensure our resources are not only dedicated to those needing a professional relocation but also those who desire a trustworthy and friendly staff who understands the power of service. We have been blessed and it is our duty and privilege to serve those in need.
The Salvation Army (angel tree)
In 2015, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis partnered with Salvation Army to assist in the logistics required for the Angle Tree program. The Angel Tree program was able to successfully collect enough gifts for over five thousand families for the holiday season by donating time and trucks to pick up these items all across the mid-South. It was an honor serving with The Salvation Army to bring holiday cheer to the children and elderly families in the area.
Memphis Union Mission
The Memphis Union Mission holds a special place in our hearts here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis. Love for the Community has been embedded in the DNA of our franchise from the very beginning. We challenge ourselves as a franchise to never lose the connection with the people in our city, to always give back with our time and finances. Ben, our franchise owner, sits on the board of the Memphis Union Mission. In 2015, two of our office members went down to the Mission and served lunch to the homeless during the cold winter months. The Mission does great things for the Greater Memphis Area and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis supports their efforts full on.
Mid-South Food Bank
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis is an official drop off location for the Mid-South Food Bank. We welcome you to stop by during office hours and drop off any non-perishable items for the Mid-South Food Bank. This food goes to the Hunger's Hope and Mobile Pantry initiatives to feed families all over our city.
AMERICAN RED CROSS mEMPHIS
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Memphis has been working with the American Red Cross Memphis to help serve our community during times of crisis. We appreciate the opportunity to lend a had in setting up and tearing down shelters that house people in the community who have been effected by natural disaster or any emergency needs to be met. We look forward to being there with our first responders when duty calls.
