Aiken Community Involvement

This event holds a special place in our hearts here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.

Halloween With A Heart, hosted by WJBF News Channel 6, is an incredible community event that gives children with special needs the chance to enjoy trick-or-treating in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.

For our team, this event is more than just community involvement—it's personal. Melanie, one of our dedicated customer service representatives, and her husband take part each year through their church, helping make this special night possible for so many wonderful kids and families. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and pure joy on each child’s face is something we look forward to every year. 

As the event continues to grow, we’re proud to help it reach even more families in 2025. It’s truly an experience every person and company should be a part of at least once—a reminder of the power of compassion, inclusion, and community coming together.

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we like helping our community, and one way we do that is through our MOVERS FOR MOMS® campaign. Last year in May 2025, we collected over 500 much needed items for those special moms in our area in need. We were able to accomplish this by partnering with the local Aiken, SC business. Our donations helped support the local Salvation Army in their effort to support the community. Again, in 2026, we are partnering with the Salvation Army to help our community.

This project helps moms who might need some extra help on Mother's Day. We also have teamed up with schools, community centers and churches in our community to get everyone involved in this special cause. It's just one of the ways we help support our community.

We would like to thank all those who helped with this 2025 campaign for Movers for Moms® and look forward to working on this program and growing it in the area as we launch the Spring 2026 Campaign for Movers for Moms®.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Aiken-Augusta helps families by providing a house for those with sick children. RMHC help family members stay by the child's side during this time and not have to worry about having a place to stay. We donate our time and resources to support this wonderful charity. We preform moving needs that include, but not limited to, relocating items from different places to just helping rearrange rooms to assist those in need better. RMHC has been so good to our community, and we are blessed to be a partner in giving back. 

We are thankful to be a part of their mission and the relationship we have with RMHC. Their work with the community is truly amazing.

The 2025 Toys for Tots campaign is underway, and we are working with the community to collect much needed donations for this cause. We are proud to help the US Marine Corps Reserve in the CSRA to help pickup and delivery toys from many areas, to include the Savannah River Site. 

This cause does so much to help provide Christmas to so many local kids and families in need. They do so much to help provide Christmas to those kids and families in need in our area. It is always a joy to also partner with local businesses and schools in the community to continue putting smiles on our local areas kids this time of year. Through your financial generosity and help, we will have another successful year this Christmas season. 

We have always been honored to be a part of this program and to help every year to provide joy to those in need.
