Every one of our movers and drivers are fully vetted prior to hire, including a drug screen and background check. They participate in specialized training which includes online learning as well as hands-on training in our “mock apartment”. Long Distance Moving
You might be new to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand, but we have been around since the mid-1980s and have built a great reputation around both local and long-distance moving, and we offer two great long-distance moving options to work within your budget. Our expedited service(opens in a new window) is what we built this company on and includes our complimentary padding and stretch wrapping service to protect all of your belongings in transit. We carefully load everything onto our standard 26' truck and drive to your new location where we then offload your furnishings and boxes and place them to your specifications in your new home.
Value Flex® Cardboard Crate

Senior Relocation
Downsizing and relocating can be overwhelming no matter what stage of life you are in, but moving out of your family home, with all of it's memories can be especially difficult. As the MOVERS WHO CARE®, we will come alongside you, leading up to moving day, answering all of your questions and ensuring your move is a stress-free experience.
Apartments, Condos, and Townhomes
Whether you are moving into or out of the historic district, waterfront area, or "Capitol Center", we will skillfully handle all of the logistics of transporting your belongings. We understand the compact design of the city of Providence lends itself to more high rises and triple-decker housing, and we have years of experience navigating parking permits, freight elevators, and numerous flights of stairs so you can rest assured that your belongings will safely arrive at your new address. We also provide protection for door jambs and banisters as well as floor protection so that there is no damage during your move.
College Moves
Attending university at Brown, Johnson and Wales, RISD, Rhode Island College, or Providence College and need some help getting moved in or out of your dorm room, apartment, fraternity or sorority house? We offer a complete line of moving boxes and packing supplies and a load-only service in case you have a truck or trailer but not the manpower for the heavy lifting.
Junk Removal
Because you don't always want to take everything with you to your new home, we offer Junk Removal(opens in a new window) service. Our professionally trained junk removal experts will come and load our truck with all of the items you no longer need or want and safely dispose of them. We can also stop at a donation center and off-load your items if you have called ahead to ensure that they are accepting them. Junk removal is perfect for purging your garage, storage unit, shed, or attic. We can pick up old appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, construction debris, scrap metal and more. We reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle whenever possible.
Internal Moves
There may be times where you require moving help but do not need the truck; carrying a heavy piece of furniture to another floor of the home, re-arranging your existing furniture in a room, removing heavy pieces in order to install new floors, or tackle a renovation project just to name a few. We can provide the muscle and the know-how when you find yourself in a situation where you need a helping hand to get things done.

Boxes and Packing Supplies
We offer our line of competitively priced boxes and packing supplies from TV boxes to artwork boxes, mattress bags, wardrobes, and dish packs. We provide complimentary delivery on orders totaling $100 or more, and we buy back what you don't use if you hold onto your receipt!
