TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was started by a caring mom whose sons wanted to help people by doing small moving and junk removal jobs while they were home from school over the summer break. That mom, Mary Ellen Sheets, immediately drew our iconic logo on a napkin at the kitchen table when her boys presented their idea to her for summer work. She then put an ad in the newspaper for the service and history was made. At the end of that summer, after the boys went back to school, Mary kept the business going and after the first year donated all profit to charity. This give-back philosophy became one of our core principles for how we wanted to further impact the communities we serve and our motto “Movers Who Care®” was born.
