NC4K

TWO MEN AND A TRUCKⓇ has partnered for the past few years with NC4K, a non-profit organization providing much needed support to children and families who are impacted by a childhood cancer diagnosis. This year our crew was able to help facilitate the transporting of donations, set up, and tear down of their Back To School Bash annual event. The Back To School Bash was able to collect back to school supplies and other donations so that over 250 students from 90 NC4K families are able to begin the new school year with the supplies they need. We are looking forward to partnering with NC4K again for their annual Reindeer Run in downtown Columbus later this year!

Mandy Powell, the Executive Director of NC4K said "I cannot thank you enough for all your support with our back to school program. Truly, you and the entire Two Men and a Truck team are remarkable. The support, involvement, and flexibility you've shown our community mean a great deal to all of us. You're making a huge difference and we couldn't be more thankful. We couldn't ask for better partners!"

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Moms®

Movers for Moms® is an annual charitable program that we participate in to help provide essential items to mothers throughout the Hilliard and Central Ohio community. We have been able to collect thousands of items to donate since 2017, when the program began. This past year we were honored to support the YWCA Columbus Family Center.

The YWCA Family Center serves as an emergency shelter for mothers and families who have lost their home. We were able to donate hundreds of essential items collected from our employees and our community to help support mothers and their children in the greater Columbus area. Next year we plan on expanding our impact with more organizations like the YWCA to help move our community forward!

Local Partners

DownSize Columbus

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Ⓡ was honored to participate as a vendor partner in the fall Downsize Columbus event this month. Downsize Columbus has been an ongoing effort to support those in our community who are in the process of downsizing their home. This process often includes parting ways with memories and possessions that have been held onto for decades. This can be a very emotional and stressful process, but we offer a wide range of services that can help! This fall we met with over 60 attendees who are in the process of downsizing, some who have been in the process for years and just do not know how to take the first real step. We offered discounted junk removal services as a place to start and then follow up with the attendees to help them pack their entire homes, move to a new home, and make sure the whole process is executed beyond their expectations. Over the 13 years of this event’s history we have become a valued partner and resource to individuals in Columbus, Ohio. This year we were able to participate in the new VIP Advantage Program, which  is a group effort among all of the partners to provide combined discounts to this majorly 55 and older population to alleviate the stress and financial burden of this transitional stage of their lives.

FIRST COMMUNITY CHURCH

"Every year since then, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has generously stepped forward to help us out with this huge, exhausting undertaking and has sent 2-3 energetic and motivated young men to help us with a full day of unloading our stored treasures from our storage unit in Hilliard to our church on Old Dublin Road.  I am always so grateful for their hard work, efficiency, great attitude and friendly personalities. Even though this is a volunteer project, they still move each item with care, protecting each piece as if we were paying customers. I feel like they are part of our team and am moved by their enthusiasm, determination and willingness to help.

Last year we raised over $53,000.  Since our first sale in 1996, we have been able to raise over $600,000.  By far, the most profitable item we sell is our furniture.  Attached to this letter is a list of the projects we gave our earnings to last year.  On behalf of everyone in our church, thank you for your partnership and generosity and for being a company that genuinely cares."

- Sincerely, Beth Hanson, Chair, First Community Church’s Annual Gigantic Garage Sale
