Dedicated to giving back to the community!

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Military

Movers for Military  is a collection drive with a mission of giving back to veterans and their families living in crisis. Nearly one-third of the adult homeless population in the U.S. are veterans, and we are wanting to give back to the men and women that gave so much for us.

In the fall of 2016, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Dayton teamed up with local schools, churches, and organizations to collect essential items for veterans living in shelters. Thanks to these wonderful partners, we were able to make this campaign a huge success. On Veteran's Day, we delivered over 2,000 donated items to the Volunteers of America-Greater Ohio Veteran's Resource Center located in Dayton. We will strive to make this great cause even bigger and better in 2017.

Movers for Moms®

Each spring we support mothers in our area with our MOVERS FOR MOMS® campaign, donating much-needed essential care items to mothers living in homeless and domestic abuse shelters. We had yet another successful campaign in 2022. With the help of local businesses and schools, we were able to collect 963 items for YWCA Dayton. The items were dropped off a couple of days before Mother's Day, and it was great to see so many smiling faces. We look forward to continuing this campaign in 2023 and plan to make it even bigger!

Let's help these mothers in need, and show them support from their community! We've all needed a little grace at times.

Truckload of Warmth

We believe every child should stay warm during the cold winter months. That is why TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Dayton launched our Truckload of Warmth campaign this past November with the help of our great donation locations to collect winter clothing items for families at St. Vincent de Paul Society Dayton. We look forward to doing the same in 2019.

A FEAST OF GIVING

2016 marked the fourth consectutive year that we volunteered our services for our good friends with A Feast of Giving at the Dayton Convention Center by picking up and dropping off supplies. We are so happy to help out with this special event that hosts an annual Thanksgiving dinner for anyone that might be spendning the holiday alone, anyone who may be homeless, or anyone who just simply wants to attend. Thanksgiving is meant to be spent with others, and we are glad that we can contribute what we can to help this great cause be a success.

Other recent outreach programs of ours include the partnership of Grace Community Church and Cody’s Caring Clothing.

Hannah’s Treasure Chest

Hannah’s Treasure Chest, a respected children’s charity in Centerville, OH, enriches the lives of children in need by providing clothing, books, toys and other essential items through a network of partner agencies in Butler, Greene, Montgomery and Warren counties. We have been working with the charity the past couple weeks and we are pleased to annouce that we had over three trucks full to make sure the Dayton area children had the perfect Holiday!
