WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY !
Community service is very near to our hearts here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®! In our first year of business in the mid-eighties, our founder Mary-Ellen Sheets made a whopping profit of $1,000. (hey, that was a lot of money back then) Instead of pocketing the money, she divided the $1,000 ten ways and donated it to ten different charities. That sense of charitable giving has stayed with us for over 35 years!
We are always looking for new ways to give back to our community. If you know of a charity that might benefit from our assistance, please give us a call and we will do our best to aid in any way possible.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms
In addition to serving our customers, we have a very strong desire to give back to the community as much as possible. Each year, we look forward to participating in the annual Movers for Moms® charity campaign to help make a difference in our community. Through this national campaign, every TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® location across the county partners with local businesses and schools to collect essential care items for local moms in need. Last year we partnered with La Petite Academy, Kinder Care, Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center, Wise Pies Pizza, Albuquerque Sol semi-pro soccer team, Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity Restore, and several public libraries in the area to collect items for our campaign. If you would like to get involved with our Movers for Moms® program this year, give us a call, and we’ll let you know the most beneficial way to contribute.
