Featured Community Service
Movers for Mutts®
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mebane, we know that being part of a community means giving back in meaningful ways. It's one of our company's Core Values, and It's what separates us from other movers in the Triangle and the Triad. We are always proud (and equally excited) to support this year’s Movers for Mutts® campaign in partnership with the Animal Protection Society of Durham (APS). Together, we are driven to provide hope, care, and find forever homes for dogs and cats in need across our region.
APS of Durham is a critical part of our community. They not only offer safe shelter and medical care to pets, but they also connect these furry friends with loving families. This year, our campaign is all about rallying the community to support that mission through fun events that can have a tremendous impact on so many.
Here are just a few of the upcoming events:
- Adoptable Dog Yoga at Hi-Wire Brewery in Durham – Relax and stretch all while mingling with pups who are looking for a new home.
- Paint Your Pet at Wine & Design – Create a custom painting of your pet and show the world your creative side
- Yappy Hour at Lulu Bang Bang of Durham – Bring your dog for an evening full of community spirit and delicious cocktails
- Duke vs. Carolina Basketball Game at Cameron Indoor Stadium – There is no hotter ticket in college basketball! Check out this iconic rivalry with all proceeds support APS of Durham. Get your tickets here.
All of these events help raise much needed money for APS, ensure more animals receive the care and attention they need, and the chance at a forever home. The generosity and passion of the Mebane and Durham communities are what make this campaign possible every year, and we are honored and privileged to be a part of it.
We’re excited to continue building on the momentum of years past and excited to see the impact we can make together. Thank you for standing with us, the Animal Protection Society, and the animals who need us most — because every wag, every purr, and every happy tail matters.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms®
Giving back is one of the things that truly separates TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® from other Triad area moving companies. Giving back is so important to the entire organization that we have instilled it as one of our Core Values. With that in mind, each Spring the entire TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand embraces an initiative called MOVERS FOR MOMS®. This program is in conjunction with other Triad area partners, and we collect clothing, toiletries, towels, and other non-perishable items that women who are victims of domestic violence will need if they are forced to leave their homes to escape their abusers. MOVERS FOR MOMS® has been very successful throughout the country as we collect the aforementioned items throughout the early part of the year and deliver them to local shelters just in time for Mother's Day.
Historically, we've partnered with teams at InterAct of Wake County, and Dress for Success Triangle, Triangle area Dairy Queen locations, Christina Valkanoff Realty Group, and Kendra Scott at Southpoint Mall in Durham.

Monet Richardson Community Foundation
The Monet Richardson Community Foundation is a group that is working diligently to make a difference in the lives of Triad and Triangle area students who need a helping hand. The organization was founded in 2021 by Pat Richardson for her daughter, Kristain "Krissy" Monet Richardson who passed away in May 2021. Krissy always had a passion for helping children, activism, and for social justice. In 2018, she partnered with the Carrboro-Chapel Hill YMCA on a backpack program to help provide resources for students in underserved communities. Today, the Monet Richardson Community Foundation works to continue Krissy's legacy of giving back. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is honored to work with such an amazing group of people.
