As the season of spring blooms, so does the spirit of giving through MOVERS FOR MOMS®, a heartwarming initiative hosted by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. For the 18th year, this powerful campaign will take place across the U.S. to support local women’s and family shelters, as well as diaper banks, with donations that will reach women and families in need by or around Mother’s Day.
A Campaign Built on Compassion
Since its inception, MOVERS FOR MOMS® has been focused on recognizing and helping those mothers who face hardships, whether due to homelessness or domestic abuse. This initiative goes beyond simply donating items – it’s about lifting spirits, showing care, and giving a little extra help to those who need it most. For the 2025 campaign, the Missoula location will celebrate its 7th year participating in this national effort. With each year, the support continues to grow, making a significant impact in the lives of families who are striving to overcome challenges.
Supporting Those Who Support Us: Empowering Women and Families
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was founded by a mother, and the company continues to honor that legacy by supporting communities in need through various charitable initiatives, with MOVERS FOR MOMS® being one of the most impactful. The program encourages donations of comfort items that can help these women feel cared for and valued. Items such as soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, diaper cream, baby wipes, hair styling products, grocery store gift cards, and gas cards are just a few examples of the comfort gifts that make a world of difference to those who have experienced hardship.
For shelters, the items needed vary, and in many cases, the shelters provide lists of specific needs that best serve their residents. The focus remains on making women feel special, especially during the difficult times they may be facing.
A Focus on Mountain Home Montana
The organization benefiting from MOVERS FOR MOMS® is Mountain Home Montana, an incredible program dedicated to young mothers and their children. Mountain Home Montana helps these young women discover their strengths and build a solid foundation for their families. With this support, mothers are empowered to create secure and loving environments for their children, where they can grow and thrive.
