overall the expierence was ok, loading took no time at all, unloading took longer than anticipated, one of the guys was groaning and moaning and took frequent breaks, at the end they quit asking where everything went and unloaded in garage. upon unloading an antique dresser leg was broken off, we are still looking for the leg. I felt our first move 5 years ago was much better than this one.

All the guys were very nice & respectful.
Someone from the first team (the ones that loaded the truck), lost 10 bolts that went to my daughters new full size bed frame. Then when my glass vanity was delivered & unwrapped, my two glass drawers were cracked. So far that's all I've seen. I am still unpacking.

We have used you several times in the past , even in St Louis . For the most part your movers kept busy . We have some damage and will deal with your office staff on that shortly - we hope to keep our opinion the same after that. Your movers were very careful but when you move things , the possibility of damage raises - they should NOT be penalized for the small damages they did - it happens at times. You prices have risen considerably since the last time we moved.

While I am mostly satisfied, I do have some complaints. I haven't unpacked all of my boxes yet, and some I won't unpack for quite a while, I have found broken items. One box was full of broken dishes even though everything had been very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. I can only assume the box had been dropped. On the other hand, the men did take a long time and considerable effort to move a sofa to the basement through a very limited space. But if I tell anyone about your company I will have to mention the box of broken dishes.

My move was physically difficult and the 3 men working had to take breaks, asked for water, etc. For such a hard job, breaks should have been planned. I am ultimately happy though with the job. A few things were damaged, but not horribly.

Overall, pretty good service. The movers did damage my tv stand, took some trim off the wall (not a big deal I repaired quickly), and could not get my headboard to my bed up to the master bedroom. My 63 year old dad and I were able to get it up to the master bedroom so I was a little baffled the movers could not get this done.

Staff really wanted to make us happy and overall did a good job. We did have a bookcase that broke during the move. We ended up having to call 1-800-gotjunk to remove it from the property. They immediately informed me. It was old and not fine furniture by any means. Staff claimed that it just sort of fell apart while moving to the truck. I have no reason to doubt them...but wasn't there at that moment to observe. Also, we had a picture break burning the move. I was supposed to remind driver to put that on a claim form. I forgot to remind him and didn't think about it until after they left. That shouldn't have been my job to remember. Overall, our experience was very good and I would consider using your service again and would recommend to others.

Movers were diligent and the quote I received was only a few dollars off. Movers worked their butts off to get everything in and in place.

My one complaint was that the item I signed a waiver on was damaged in transit. It was a shelf piece that was not that difficult to handle but it should have been a two person job. Instead, the decorative wood broke and one of the drawers was nicked because it fell out.

My bookcases got a little scratched up and I had a side table which had a leg broken off when it was unloaded, but I think it will be an easy fix with some wood glue. My friend and I did notice there was a distinct difference between the movers we had load the truck in the morning (we used Two Men and a Truck in Springfield for this), and the services your team in KC provided. The largest discrepancy wasn't discovered until about an hour after movers left; they either didn't bring tools to assemble my bed (I did have a toolbox they could have used if they didn't have one). Instead of informing me of this, they put the bed together with my heavy king sized mattress on it as if though everything was fine which was deceptive. I was able to turn the loose bolts easily in either direction.

The two main movers were excellent, but the 3rd, Richard, was a nightmare. The main men, Freese & Schaaf (not sure of this spelling), were excellent, quick, careful, respectful and would higher again. I would of given a score of excellent for this move except Richard moved several items that I said not to move, dumped a box of fabric so he could use the box for another load, damages exceeded $100 and caused me 4 hours of clean-up. I sent an email with several pictures of Richard’s messes which prompted the office to call me. We spoke in great detail. Gentleman that i spoke to said he would refund $100 yet it has been 2 weeks and stillI no refund! Not sure I would hire again at this point nor recommend. Please resolve this so I feel confident in your company. Thank you!
