I worked with the Rochester MN Two Men and a Truck office. My experience with two men and a truck was horrible in the end. Scheduling everything with Kim for my move went very well which is why I decided to go with two men and a truck. However several items were damaged upon delivery. The driver Mitch refused to let me fill out a damage report, instead saying that the company would contact me the next day. I waited one week to be contacted and heard nothing. I reached out to the company and received several very apologetic emails and assurances that they will do everything to make it right from Matt. After sending photos of the damage I’ve heard nothing again. I will not use two men and a truck again nor will I ever refer someone to your company.

Home and thousands of dollars of furniture damaged and even though only 4 items were to be moved, one was left at the old location

Moving crew was very efficient, actual cost was way under estimate. One piece of furniture was damaged, they did not say anything about it and did not notice til later but it was the cheap fiber board type material so did not bother us too much.

Many broken items. Some destroyed. No care at all for our stuff. Emotionally scarred.

Movers inexperienced with moving furniture in and out of the house. Were rough with furniture handling. As a result we had some damage to our new home and at least one piece of furniture.

Most was good. Estimate was good but didn't include piano but it did include bench. Team did good work at taking stuff out on old putting and moving into new except for 3 problems . One broke glass bulb around entry light of old residence, 2. pulled some vinear off antique chest of my wife and 3. did not do a good job of taking the ping pong table apart and putting back together.

My overall experience with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK was a good one. The movers worked efficiently and what I quite appreciated was their honesty when they realized that they put quite a scratch on my buffet top and immediately let me know about it. I recommend the use of more bubble wrap. The long edge of my coffee table was damaged,-- damage I did not notice until the men left. This could have been prevented if bubble wrap would have been used.

Overall we were pleased with the move. We did receive conflicting information on transporting liquids. Estimator, packers, movers were not on the same page. We would have done a few things differently. One packer packed up sealed bottles and another left them for us to pack.
One packer dumped packed bins/baskets of items into the box and another person set the baskets in the box, so we did not have to sort those items when unpacking. The estimator said the packers would take the wardrobe boxes back and the movers said they could not as they did not have room. There were a few broken items, coffee maker, glass tray. All replaceable. We wanted to pay with a credit card and the machine did not work so we had to use a check. We were satisfied with service.
All in all we were pleased.

Having moved both myself and my children several times, I think I have a little experience to compare with. I'm old enough I just didn't want to do all that lifting anymore. If I was to complain it would be because my shelving was damaged in the move and I haven't heard back about what is going to be done about it. In a way I'm surprised because everyone from office on down to the guys doing the moving were very courteous and efficient. Would definitely call if I have to move again.
