Each year, we participate in Movers for Moms®. This is dear to our hearts since every mother should have a great Mothers Day. We collect donations from our community and partners to donate to our local womens shelter. These donations includes sheets, shampoos, lotions or really just anything that any woman may need on a daily basis. CAN Council of Saginaw was formed in 1979 to help prevent child abuse and neglect. Their mission is to build communities where children are free from abuse and neglect. Several times a year we donate our services to their auctions by delivered auction items to and from any location they need.

The essence of the Midland Area Community Foundation is many people putting their money together to address the diverse needs where they live. Gifts enable people to dream bigger, to see the many possibilities. As money is endowed, the gifts grow forever, providing ongoing support to help the community prosper. Community foundations reflect and support donors’ wide array of interests and help them address all aspects of community need including arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health, human services and recreation. We donate to our community by providing grants, scholarships and investing in community projects. By giving back directly to the community it allows us to creat a legacy for our area. We help deliver toys for their Christmas toy give away so no child shall go without at Christmas.
