My move was from Rochester Michigan to Traverse City Michigan on February 19th. The truck used had road tires with no lateral tress. I pointed out to the office personnel that those tires were inappropriate for driving anywhere in Michigan in February, especially considering that there was an 8andamp;acirc; snow fall in the Detroit area that weekend. Being told that the delivery would be the same day, I had my driveway plowed and sanded. The move took longer, in part because the roads were so bad. The next day when they arrived in Traverse City there was a fresh snowfall of 1 1/2andamp;acirc;. The truck couldnandamp;acirc;t make it up a grade of less than 2 feet over 100 feet.
The rest of the drive is more challenging.

I'm so very grateful for all of the help from the dedicated men who moved me. Meghan was helpful and informative with my concerns and questions. Great phone etiquette!!! I just can't say enough good things about Combest,Young and Milton. My movers were so courteous and friendly. Put everything in it's place. I love this company. It like to mention that after the move I received a call that they found 1- 2andamp;quot; screw that went to my t.v. stand in the truck andamp;eth;andamp;eth;andamp;eth;I highly recommend 2 Men and a truck for any of your moving. The two men that came out were courteous and and knew exactly what to do. I grew up with a family furniture company, so I have experience moving furniture. These two young men were outstanding. You are lucky to have them.

We were told to have a three men crew, however only two movers showed up. Therefore the move took nearly 12 hours. There was not enough room on the truck for all our furniture, even thought we had listed more furniture on our inventory.

Excellent service all the way around, from setting up the appointment to the actual moving of my items. I appreciate being contacted with updates as to arrival time. The movers were very nice, quick, and efficient. I hope to never have to move again but if I do, I will contact Two Men and a Truck.

This was very costly - more than double the cost of renting a truck and hiring people on both ends to load and unload. However, if someone does not want to drive the truck themselves and wants a full service move, this is the company to go with. The women in the office were very friendly and professional. Dale and Billy did an excellent job with the move itself.
