TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms®
Movers for Moms® is a national program started by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in the 1980s. Giving back is one of our Core Values so every spring, our franchises partner with a women’s shelter in their area and collect needed items for the women and children being assisted by that organization. We do this leading up to Mother’s Day because it is our goal to help make sure that all moms are recognized on their special day. The Women’s Lunch Place is our shelter partner in Boston. The Women’s Lunch Place is a day shelter where women struggling with violence, employability, homelessness or hunger are welcome and cared for with open hearts and respect.

We want to thank you so very much for your support and participation in our Run, Walk & Wag road race. Your help meant the world to us as we worked together to set up and clean up from the race.
You got up early, braved the bracing winds, set up tents & tables, picked up toppled tents, gave away 250 Swag bags, gave away 100 pounds of food, checked in volunteers, registered runners, walkers and pups, gave away T-shirts, cheered, rang bells and helped runners find their way! And then after all that, you helped us clean up too.
We are GRATEFUL to you for helping us this past Saturday, May 7 to make our 2022 Run, Walk & Wag such a great success. Our first LIVE race in two years and you helped JET it off the ground. As you can probably imagine, we cannot do any of our work unless we have a group of dedicated volunteers behind us. And that was each and everyone of you.
You were all AWESOME! We could not have done it without you and thank you so much for donating your time and service to SOWMA. Your help made such a huge difference to us and our Road Race. Your team was very friendly and helpful. And we also want to thank you for participating in race too--this was also a wonderful thing you did for our students.
We hope you had enjoyed coming too.
Please be sure to send along any feedback you may have about your experience in order that we can keep the things that worked well and incorporate improvements as needed.
We are grateful for you as we cannot do what we do without you.
Thank you for putting this out there, McKenna--I am most grateful to you for the support.
Warm Regards,
Barbara and the SOWMA staff
