Giving back to our Louisville Community
As a dedicated member of the Louisville community, we understand the importance of giving back to the community where we live and work. The efforts that we put into our community is just as important as the business that we do every day. We work with local Louisville organizations through efforts such as Movers for Moms® every year in an effort to help those who need it most.
If you have a community event or cause that we could help with, let us know! We are all in this together.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms®
Thank you to everyone that supported our 2021 MOVERS FOR MOMS® campaign! With the mission of making Mother's Day extra special this year for moms in need, we collected over 150 ITEMS with the help of our Official Community Partners and members of the community. These most needed items were promptly delivered to The Healing Place(opens in a new window) and distributed to women living on their campus. We cannot express how much the support of our partners and community members means to both us and the women that we helped have a happier Mother's Day. As we conclude this year's program, we look forward to another successful year with our 2022 Movers for Moms® program. If you are interested in helping us in 2022, please give us a call and we would be happy to discuss ways you may be able to help!

MOVERS FOR MEALS® 2020 Completed!
MOVERS FOR MEALS® is an annual campaign aimed at providing a helping hand for families facing hunger, this past year, in particular, those individuals and their families affected by COVID-19. Ten years strong, Movers for Meals® continues to make a difference in the Louisville community. In recent years, the program has averaged nearly 5,000 pounds of donated food for food banks across the country.
Our 2020 MOVERS FOR MEALS® donations were successfully delivered to Shively Area Ministries’ “Honey and Pop Food Pantry”!
We would like to extend a special thank you to the following 2020 MOVERS FOR MEALS® Community Partners! This program would not be a success without your generous contributions and efforts. Down Syndrome of Louisville
Down Syndrome of Louisville’s mission is to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome, and their families, by providing support, information, education, and advocacy for their rights and concerns; thus enabling each individual to reach his or her full potential. We provide a truck and drivers for the set up and take down of "Steps to Independence" Walk/Run event.
Kosair Charities
Kosair Charities’ mission is to protect the health and well-being of children in Kentucky and Southern Indiana by providing financial support for clinical services, research, pediatric healthcare education, and child advocacy. We donate a dollar to this organization for every reply card we receive at the Louisville Central location. We also move hospital furniture and supplies for this organization.
St. Jude's Research Hospital
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. We provide a truck and drivers to help set up and take down for the St. Jude's Walk/Run event.
Highland Community Ministries
HCM is an ecumenical non-profit organization uniting the efforts and energies of 24 congregations to support and empower their Highlands neighbors in need. Through HCM, these congregations come together to offer the broadest possible resources to all segments of their community—children, families, seniors and those in need. HCM receives between 100-200 boxes of food each month. We move the boxes into their food storage area and then stock, rearrange, and rotate the food.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana is to provide a “home away from home” for families of children receiving healthcare at area medical facilities while also lending support to other organizations who aid children.
The Healing Place
The Healing Place is a staple in the Louisville community as a center for recovering from addiction. Individuals at their facility have made the decision to change their path for the better in an effort to lead productive, meaningful lives. Sharing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®'s values such as honesty and respect, we are proud to partner with The Healing Place.
In fact, we are welcoming The Healing Place as the official donation recipient of our 2021 Movers for Moms® campaign where we come together in an effort to make Mother's Day even more special for women in need. The diverse and inclusive environment they foster along with their dedicated women's campus makes them a very deserving recipient. Interested in donating to the 2021 Movers for Moms® campaign? Visit our Movers for Moms® page to learn about where, how, and what to donate!
Shively Area Ministries

OTHER COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We have two popular ongoing programs to support our local schools. The first is our "Day of the Move" baskets donated to school fundraisers. The second is the free boxes we give to schools to help with packing up classrooms for the summer. Let us know if we can be of assistance to your school! We love giving back to the community that we love!
