A mover misidentified a carpet beetle casing for a bed bug and stopped the move. Within 2 hours if was identified by a pest control expert for what it was but the moving company could not restart the move. The earliest they could move us was 5 days later at best. I understand the need to be safe for movers and trucks; however we were on a timeline to get out of our house. As the blame was not ours, I feel that the company should have figured something out. I fully expect my deposit returned and will not seek this company’s services in the future.

I was to be the third move of the day. Suppose to arrive between 2:30-4:30pm. I got a phone call at 4:25pm to inform me that they would have to cancel my move!! The customer before me was taking longer then expected. I was so mad. I was just moving a few items across town. I ended up paying friends to do it. I never even got an apology. They gave me my deposit back, I was emailed. Won’t ever use again and will never recommend them to anyone who wants to move.

I had a lot of stuff to move. When it was clear the truck would fill up, the movers avoided certain heavy items that I had to move myself. It took me additional 8 hours to move the remainder of items. Wardrobe was packed wrong. Shirts and ties were just thrown in bottom of the box. Second wardrobe was not filled, but items were left hanging in closet. Many sheets of wrapping were brought in and just left on the stove. The movers were nice and personable, but the quality and completeness of the job was poor.

Movers were three hours late, we paid for three movers. One was new and dropped items, one had a broken wrist and moved as much as he could but was really only there as the driver. Overall they were nice kids but needed more direction . Our first experience with two men and a truck was much more professional.

The front door and garage door were left open by mistake. The house filled with flies. The guys also left their tools and dolly there and had to go back later and get them. The guys were very friendly and helpful.
