Giving back to the St. Louis Metro East Community

Living our core values as “Movers Who Care®” has given TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® St. Louis East the opportunity to grow beyond expectations while giving back to the community. We are members of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce(opens in a new window) and the Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce(opens in a new window). We are active in the Illionis Assosciation of Realtors and attend their convention every spring. We donate our manpower and trucks to worthy local causes such as HEROES Care, and Toys For Tots. This year we will deliver all of our Movers for Moms® charity donations to The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois, which offers transitional housing to abused women and their children. This national program allows us to partner with local schools and businesses to collect essential care items for local moms in need, and deliver them around the time of Mother’s Day. We look forward to working with many great organizations each year through our annual programs.

Movers For Moms®

Each year TWO MEN AND A TRUCK collects personal care items for mothers in need as part of our Movers for Moms® program. In 2016 we teamed up with the Belleville East High School Lancer Soccer and Boys' Volleyball teams and coaches Stefanie Gaubatz and Erica Baptist to collect items for The Belleville Violence Prevention Center. Together we collected over 3000 items!

Each month TWO MEN AND A TRUCK delivers 2 truck loads of donated furniture to the Heroes Care warehouse. The furniture is then distributed to military service men and women in need. In addition to the monthly furniture deliveries, we deliver truckloads of toys for the holidays to Scott Airforce Base.

The Collinsville Festival of Trees

For at least the past 10 years, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has been a major sponsor of the yearly holiday gala celebration. We pick up and deliver two truckloads of decorated holiday trees and deliver them to the auction winner's home, at no charge! Proceeds from the event are donated to different charities each year. For tickets and event information, contact The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce.

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation

Kellsie’s Hope was started by Kellsie Marchbanks during her second round of cancer treatment. After her passing in June 2011 of Osteosarcoma(opens in a new window), the Marchbanks family formed Kellsie’s Hope Foundation Inc., to celebrate the life of this remarkable young woman and to continue the work she started from her hospital bed. Each year TWO MEN AND A TRUCK donates trucks and man hours to deliver auctioned-off holiday decorations following the Trees of Hope Gala.www.kellsieshope.com
