WHAT IS movers for meals®?

MOVERS FOR MEALS® is a charitable campaign created by TWO  MEN AND A TRUCK in an effort to help local food pantries collect non-perishable food items. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has always had a passion to help others. One of our core values is giving back to our community. Running campaigns like this one is one of the ways we give back to our Freeport community. During this campaign we partner with local businesses and organizations to collect non-perishable food. Our moving team delivers collection boxes to our donation partner locations and returns to pick up both the boxes and the donated items once the campaign is complete.

This year we collected non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army Freeport. Our donation partners and the Freeport Community came together to collect 1,890 lbs of non-perishable food items. From now until April 29th, 2026 our Freeport Movers and our donation partners will be collecting donations for The Salvation Army of Freeport Food Pantry and Madonna Renewal Center! We will be collecting non-perishable food items for The Salvation of Army and collecting essential care items for the Madonna Renewal Center.

2025 Freeport Donation Drive:

Our first Movers for Moms® campaign at our Freeport, IL location was a success! In 2025 our newly opened satellite location ran our very first Freeport Movers for Moms campaign to collect essential care items for local moms  in need.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our amazing donation partners and community, we successfully collected around 5,000 essential care items for Madonna Renewal Center! 

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed; whether through donations, participation, or simply spreading the word. Your kindness has made a real and lasting impact!

Movers for Moms® is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's national giving program that is focused on assisting moms and families in need; by collecting everyday items that they are in need of.  We partnered with local schools, businesses, and organizations to collect donations for local families in need. In 2025 we collected items for the Madonna Renewal Center. Madonna Renewal Center empowers women and helps them develop a variety of skills to improve their lives. The donations gathered through our Movers for Moms® program were delivered to Madonna Renewal Center, these donations help provide essential necessities to women and their families in need.
