Chicago Movers Giving Back

Our Chicago Midway Movers take their commitment to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and its core values very seriously. That includes THE GRANDMA RULE® and Giving back to the community. Treating each one of our customers as if they are family is truly what we strive for every day. We are proud to be active members of the La Grange Business Association, and, the Illinois Movers' and Warehousemen's Association.  In addition we are accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Community Involvement and Partnerships

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® believes that part of giving back to the community means being involved in helping others less fortunate than we. We often perform charitable moves and donate time and trucks to food drives and other collection efforts.

Movers for Military®

This fall it was again time to give back to those who have given so much to our country. Our military veterans need our support as many of them are homeless. Tragic statistics from the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans state that about one third of the adult homeless population in the US are veterans. Veterans Day is a time to thank our veterans for their service to, and sacrifice for our country.

To show our appreciation to all veterans, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® launched its Movers for Military collection drive to provide much needed items to homeless veterans. We partnered with local community and business organizations to collect donations for the Midwest Shelter For Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Illinois.  The Greater LaGrange YMCA, Elmhurst YMCA, Berwyn Public Library, Morgan Stanley, Orland Township, Joliet Public Library, and Shorewood-Troy Public Library all contributed by placing donation boxes in their facilities and encouraging donations. Over 600 items were collected and delivered in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We can't thank them enough for helping.

Movers for Moms®

Last spring TWO MEN AND A TRUCK launched our 10th collection campaign for Movers for Moms®.

What an incredible year it was for the Movers for Moms® program! Thanks to the generosity of all who so kindly donated and supported our efforts, over 295,000 items were collected for moms in need and delivered time for Mother's Day! We were proud to donate the items collected in our area to Family Shelter Service in Wheaton. http://www.familyshelterservice.org/
