None of my furniture was padded, it was shrink wrapped so there was a lot of gouges. Three items were broken and they did not inform me. I figured it out as I was moving these items (large can, pet stairs, lamp stand). They arrived outside of the planned window and I had to pay for them while they did nothing until my block of reserved time with freight elevator became available. This is the first time I did not tip my movers. I feel guilty for not doing it but the quality of service was so poor that in the end, no tip was justified.

Brandon and John were fantastic! They were so friendly and helpful, and I was really impressed that John got right to work while I filled out paperwork with Brandon. They made sure I was completely satisfied with where everything was placed in my home before they left. I would definitely hire Two Men and a Truck again based on this experience.

I have used Two Men and a Truck several times in the past, each time was a positive experience. Unfortunately, this time was not. The packers did not bring enough boxes to pack frames or electronic equipment. The movers, without us seeing, loaded these unboxed stacked together into the truck and damaged our frames. Several furniture pieces were not wrapped in plastic resulting in damage. The movers arrived late both mornings and there was an emphases on speed and packing everything into one truck (though we told them multiple times pre-move and during the move we didn't mind a second truck). Finally, our scheduler put the wrong date in the system and we almost did not have a truck on the day of the move, though this was fixed the night before the move.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK equals the finest, neatest, most pleasant and all-around "five star" moving service available. From first telephone contact to final "good-bye guys" it ranks as the best business to do business with in Chicago.

The team loaded both their truck, which was taken to a storage location and a pod that was trucked separately to our new apartment in Minneapolis. The team was enthusiastic, but did not show much care in the loading of goods in either container. When we arrived at the storage facility 20 miles away there had been significant shifting in the truck, and we are concerned that there will have been significant shifting and damage to the goods in the pod, which will be unpacked by us next week.

Demetrius and Brandon were great. They arrived on time, they worked hard and efficiently and they were very friendly and personable. They did a great job.

I was charge $641 dollars for a 1 hour move. The drivers knew the move was only 1 hour office charged me way to much. It took less than a hour. So they put a hold on way to much money.

We had a cancellation from a fisher moving company and Two Men and a Truck were able to come in and do the job quickly!

The team headed by Brock was very efficient. They worked exceedingly hard. The only drawback was that 2-3 boxes were brought to the new residence when they should have stayed behind but we understand that that were extenuating circumstances. Also want to mention Anfroid who worked on the Thursday, August 22 move. We had 3 moves altogether. La Mont was also nice, on the Monday, August 19 move.
