Community Service in the Western Suburbs

Here at DuPage/Will/Kendall, we take pride in giving back to the communities that have supported us since the beginning! Whether it be organizing drives benefitting local shelters, providing free local moves to non-profits, or volunteering time at community events, we are all in!

Some local non-profits that our franchises have given back to include Project Cure, Family Shelter Service, Hinsdale Humane Society, St Vincent De Paul Church, Sharing Connections, Share Your Soles, and Operation Care Package.

Movers for Moms®

Our franchise is again (our 22nd year!) gearing up for the once a year MOVERS FOR MOMS® charity campaign! Our teams so much enjoy collecting much needed items for area family shelters. Our movers distribute collection boxes to our fabulous partners that range from day care centers to libraries. The generous communities make donations off lists provided by the family shelters. We then collect the items and deliver them to the agencies to distribute to families in time for Mother's Day.

Local Partners

HUMANE HAVEN ANIMAL SHELTER, BOLINGBROOK

The shelter aims to care for and place homeless pets with loving families. It also provides correct pet care education to these and other families. As a not-for-profit state licensed humane society, all money used in the operation comes from fundraising and private donations.

HELP SAVE PETS, PLAINFIELD

The shelter cares for abused, neglected and abandoned pets and finds compatable homes where they will thrive. Also a not-for-profit state licensed facility, it depends on donations and volunteer efforts such as ours to continue their good work.

HINSDALE HUMANE SOCIETY, HINSDALE

Based in Hinsdale, IL, the organization is a not for profit, volunteer society that finds homes for stray cats and dogs. Families that cannot fully adopt pets are encouraged to become foster volunteers. Once vetted, families are provided with all the food, medication and equipment to care for the animals during the short time they are within the family home. This enables the shelter to deal with the large amounts of homeless animals.
