At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, Idaho Falls, giving back to the communities we serve isn’t just a part of our mission, it’s a cornerstone of who we are. One powerful way we support those in need is through our annual Movers for Moms® campaign.
This year, we partnered with the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission, Ruth House and the Bingham Crisis Center to collect essential items for mothers escaping domestic violence and sexual abuse. These women, often in the process of rebuilding their lives, face unimaginable hurdles, and a thoughtful gesture on Mother’s Day can make a world of difference.
Community Collaboration and Support
To maximize the impact, we placed collection boxes in local businesses throughout the Idaho Falls and Pocatello area, providing convenient drop-off points for community members eager to contribute. We were also fortunate to collaborate with Les Schwab locations throughout Idaho Falls and Pocatello. Additionally, local Fred Meyer stores joined the effort by hosting one-day collection drives, offering shoppers a chance to support this meaningful cause.
A Community That Cares
The support from these incredible partners, combined with the generosity of local residents, underscores the power of community. We were able to collect:
Idaho Falls Rescue Mission, Ruth House: 691 items and $200 Papa John's Gift Cards.
Bingham Crisis Center: 2,193 items, and a $25 Gift Card. A huge special thank you to an anonymous donor who donated $3,000 to the shelter. This large donation will help provide support to moms in the shelter.
Together, we’ve helped make Mother’s Day a little brighter for these courageous women, showing them that they are valued, cared for, and never alone in their journey to a better future.
