Dedicated to our community

In addition to being a team filled with trained and uniformed employees, we also dedicate time and resources to our community, continuously staying involved with local charities. We currently donate close to $25,000 worth of moving services to local area nonprofit organizations right here in the Smyrna area.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Moms®

For years we have been involved with the Movers for Moms® program, building partnerships and working with local schools and businesses to collect much needed items for women’s shelters to be given out each Mother’s Day. Learn more about this program by watching this video or visit twomenandatruck.com/moversformoms

This year we collected over 700 personal items for mother's in need at 7 Bridges to Recovery.  This is a 501c3 located right here in Smyrna!! They have room for 105 women and children.  Yes, children... did you know that 60% of homeless women are mothers?  That's why TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® built this program around moms for Mother's Day. We have donatation boxes at our offices in Acworth and Smyrna as well as at 7 Bridges to Recovery.  Thanks to those who helped by donating items this year.  Check back in the fall to learn about our Movers for Mutt's program!

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RESTORE

We work closely with Habitat for Humanity already moving two families into new homes a year, so when we learned they were opening a Habitat for Humanity Restore shop on South Cobb Drive, right down the road from our shop!!  So we immediately reached out to them to see how we could help.  Habitat for Humanity is a great company and we love their Restore outreach.  Items that are donated are sold and the proceeds are used to help fund the bulding of homes to give to deserving families. We ended up going out for 9 days to help them get ready for their grand opening earlier this spring.  We moved items into the store (including a super heavy safe!), cleaned and prepped the warehouse space, and staged the items for the grand opening.  We are cheering for their success!
