Throughout the years, Giving back to the community has remained a cornerstone for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. In fact, it is one of our core values that we live by. Throughout the year, we run multiple cause-benefit campaigns. We partner up with our community to collect as many items as we can to donate to those in need. Keep your eyes out for upcoming information on our national benefit program, Movers for Moms! We will be collecting creature comfort items and essential items that will be delivered to mothers in need right before or on mothers day. The purpose of the program is to recognize those moms living in shelters this Mother’s Day by arranging delivery of small gifts for women who are victims of domestic abuse or homelessness.
We are always looking to assist those in need, as it is truly our pleasure to be able to give back in any way to our community. We are very proud to be a part of Cherokee county. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms®
Community is a huge part of our culture here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Canton. Every year, we come together to run Movers for Moms®, which is our national cause-benefit program for mothers and their families who are in need. We collect essential items from the community, deliver them right before or on Mothers Day to our shelter, in order to provide these women with a fulfilling holiday.
This year, we will be kicking off our program at the beginning of March. We will be partnering with our Cherokee County community to collect essential items for the amazing and strong women that are currently living in shelters and trying to rebuild their lives. This year, we have partnered up with The Center for Family Resources, which is a non-profit that works to stabilize and empower families so they may become self-sufficient. Their mission statement, is to move people to self-sufficiency through financial stabilization, housing, and education. They provide resources and support to help families and individuals escape the cycle of poverty. They offer a wide variety of programs to help stabilize the families in crisis. Such as, financial assistance to maintain housing and avoid homelessness, a range of housing options, including short-term, long-term, and permanent, food assistance, employment readiness, GED preparation, and life-skill classes.
We will be teaming up with them to provide hygiene and household items to assist the at-risk and homeless families with basic necessities so that they can focus on moving to housing stability. If you are interested in being a donation site, please give us a call!

Local Partners
Cherokee County Homeless Vets Program
The Cherokee County Veterans Program, is located right here in Canton. Just last year they celebrated their fourth anniversary of bringing focus and help to veterans amongst us. The core of this program is to provide qualified homeless and disabled vets with a donated vehicle to improve their mobility situation. They have high hopes that in doing this, it will help the Vet obtain a better job or improve their transportation situation at no cost to them.
We are grateful for the non-profits out there and the opportunity to provide a service for them. It takes a village and as long as our community continues to work together, we will grow together!
Kids Care
We’re thrilled to announce that once again, we’re working with Kids Care for their third annual “Backing the Need” School Supply Drive! Our location has worked with them through this program in the past, as we’ve donated boxes for their collection drives. This year, boxes will be placed at all five Cobb County Police Precincts where people can donate new backpacks, non-perishable snack items, and schools supplies for students in need.
