Community Service in St. Petersburg

We had an amazing Movers for Mutts® season in 2021! We partnered with local businesses to raise donations for shelter pets rescued through Suncoast Animal League. Every step of the way, we had help from our office mascots, Sasha and Vinny (pictured). With all of your help, we were able to raise nearly 600 items, including leashes, collars, food, and treats. We can't wait to do it all again (and more!) in 2022!

One of our favorite campaigns at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK St. Petersburg is the annual Movers for Moms® national campaign. We are ready for another great spring! We are currently collecting essential care items for mothers in need at Hope Villages of America. Our community members and businesses participate by serving as donation centers. We will deliver the items we collect in time for Mother's Day to the day extra special for the mothers at Hope.

THANK YOU to all who donated to our 2021 campaign. With the help of our partners, Night Market St. Pete(opens in a new window) and Pinellas County Schools, we collected nearly 800 items. Your generous gifts brought much joy to the mothers at Hope Villages of America (formerly RCS Pinellas). 

For 40 years, Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) has had a mission to raise their voices against violence through advocacy, empowerment, and social change. They are the official domestic violence center in southern Pinellas County. CASA operates a 24-hour crisis hotline and has 100-bed emergency shelter. As part of our Movers for Moms® campaign, we collect essential items and donate them to the mothers’ in need at CASA. We’re proud to help such an amazing organization!   

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October through December of each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in the community. Every year we donate our trucks and crew to pick up and deliver donations for Toys for Tots. Keep an eye out for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK donation collection trucks throughout Pinellas County during the holiday months.

Our warehouse was overflowing this year. Thanks to EVERYONE who donated toys in 2018!

Nationwide Appraisal Networks have been supporting local schools by providing fully stocked backpacks for the families in need. They work with corporate sponsors, sports organizations, community partners, NAN employees and anyone else who would like to help. They want these students to be able to start the year off right. Our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK St Pete team are the official movers and corporate sponsor for this cause. We pick up and deliver the backpacks to four Pinellas County Schools.  

Suncoast Animal League(opens in a new window) is a non-profit animal welfare agency with a   no-kill, no-limit policy. They take in abandoned, abused, homeless, and unwanted animals. We offer assistance by donating trucks and our team to help set up and volunteer at various events and fundraisers throughout the year. We also partner with Suncoast Animal League for our annual Movers for Mutts campaign, where we collect donated items to help offset their costs to care for the animals. 

Shepherd's Village provides home, community, and prayer for single mothers in Pinellas county. They deliver resources and education to help women during difficult life transitions, and enable them to take charge of their own destinies. We're proud to be long time partners with Shepherd's Village.

The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business organization, committed to economic vitality and high quality of life for the people of our region. The Chamber acts as the collective voice of the business community. They monitor local issues relevant to business and advocate for measures to protect the economic health of our community. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK of Pinellas is a proud member of the Chamber and assists with their moving needs. 

Formed in 1967 as a collaboration between fifteen various faith organizations, Hope Villages of America (formerly RCS Pinellas) delivers help and hope to our neighbors in need.  They provide several vital services to thousands of community members each year including providing nutritious food through their food bank, emergency shelter, and services to assist families to return to permanent shelter, safety services for youth and individuals facing domestic violence, safe and affordable housing, and assistance with basic needs.  We partner with Hope Villages of America each spring for our annual Movers for Moms® campaign.
