We can’t thank the men enough who helped us move last weekend. We lived on the third floor so they definitely worked their tails off. They took good care in wrapping all of our belongings and nothing was damaged during the move. They even showed up ahead of schedule.
While it did take longer than we had expected, my husband and I are in total agreement that hiring movers was the right choice and very much worth the money!

The experience was not as smooth as the first time I used 2 Men. The moving crew was awesome and did their best. But the issues started with the office. I discussed my housing situation and discussed that we lived on pilings and were moving to a home on pilings. Also told them we had 100 boxes and discussed the various pieces of furniture to be moved. I overlooked 3 pieces of furniture that we did not discuss and actually only had 60 boxes, yet the truck was VASTLY undersized for our needs and the movers should have had an additional mover. As well as they packed the truck (I observed), they had to re-pack 2x in order to accommodate all my items, as it was just too much for the truck size they were given. A couple hours over the allotted time, and I knew it was going to be a long night. They ended up having to leave items behind, which meant I had to get them the next day. Let me be clear, the movers were AWESOME - very friendly and helpful. They maintained a positive attitude in spite of what was certainly a very long, tiresome day. They arrived at 8:45a and didn't eat lunch until around 4p. They were dedicated and hard workers. Had it not been for LD, "D" and Johnny, I would likely give 2Men a 1 star rating. I would recommend sending a list for people to fill out and have your office staff verify it all prior to the movers arriving with the wrong size truck, etc. Maybe even require they sign the document to put the responsibility on the owner. As it is, I was billed an additional 2 or 3 hours that technically should not have been my responsibility as the guys would likely have finished in time had they had the correct size truck. Overall, I am satisfied with the move, thanks to the movers, and likely would use 2 Men again - i would just be more clear with the office staff.

I am going to ask my phone provider to pull this call recording for training purposes to see how we can or could get better. We try to be very transparent up front as soon as we book the move. Upon booking with us, you should of received an email with your premove letter and your estimate with the items listed which matched the estimate provided by you. Do you recall getting that premove letter? In order to keep our cost down, we have invested in technology where we can do estimates right over the phone by gathering items list from you, the more accurate the list, the more accurate the estimate. I want to check the call to make sure we covered the piling situations, that would add additional time if not given on the estimate, you are definitely on point with that feedback. With our moving company, we have a fleet of 26' trucks only, so a bigger truck is not a option with us. With a 96% customer satisfaction rating, we try with every effort to make sure we are on point, thank you for your feedback so we can make sure this is happening with every customer. The team lead, Wayne, was great as were his teammates. They were very cautious in the wrapping of our large objects and then again during packing the truck and unloading. We were much impressed, again, with the attention to detail these men put into ensuring a great move!

DJ, Wayne and Lonnie were an excellent moving team. They were professional, friendly, took great care of our belongings and were super efficient. Coby and Isaiah in the office (over the phone scheduling our move) were so kind and helpful. They got us booked on short notice and were upfront about pricing—no surprises. All of these men deserve raises/bonuses for service excellence! I’m very pleased with the entire experience and would hire this team again in a heartbeat. Will recommend to friends and family.
