I wonder how many people get last minute surcharges. Non transparent billing. Wouldn’t recommend
<div>Our apologies for the confusion, but to be clear we never at any point attempted to hold anything hostage nor even implied it as a possibility. Our office received a call that there was substantially more inventory than was given to us to create the estimate. The reason that happened half way through the move was because there was a second loading stop at storage. When they realized the inventory was going from 76 items to more than double that, they realized they may need to revise the cost. As it states multiple times in the estimate sent, the estimate is based on the inventory provided, and if that changes significantly the price could change accordingly. That is stated multiple times in the original estimate email asking customers to review it for accuracy, because we are trying to make it extremely transparent that if there are more items than was disclosed to us, the price may be higher. At the end of the day after suggesting an 11% price increase for twice as many items as listed, we ended up agreeing to just do it for the original price because our guys felt they were moving through it quickly. I do apologize for the confusion, but I think we were very transparent in our estimate and that at the end of the day we were more than fair to move substantially more for the original cost.</div>
