I did not have the outstanding experience with Two Men in a Truck as I have in the past. The actual move went okay, none of my stuff got damaged and the movers worked hard/efficiently (however I don't like that they asked for a tip multiple times, past experiences the movers don't mention it at all and it was much more comfortable approach as I of course still tipped at the end but didn't feel pressured). Unfortunetly my real issue was getting a piece of my bed misplaces during the move (left in the truck) and the lack of communication/assistance following trying to find the missing piece. I had to reach out multiple times to multiple staff and was only followed up with by one employee, even that person wasn't very helpful. My item is still missing with little communication 1 week later.

Every piece of my furniture was scratched and or gouged. The movers were poorly trained and didn’t handle my property with the care and forethought I expected. When I called them out for placing the finished surface of my I headboard of my sleigh bed directly on the concrete without placing a blanket underneath, the response was they were trying to hurry and save me money. Way wrong answer. They apologized for the damages and told me that most of their customers didn’t have nice things and only cared about getting their stuff moved as fast as possible. Is that the company motto? I feel that the dispatcher should have sent at least one person who knew what he was doing instead of pairing these two together. I would not use or recommend your service again.

They broke my tv screen, scratched nearly all my best wood furniture, left early to go to their next job. Didn’t put my bed together so I had nowhere to sleep. They left my packed boxes unmoved in the loft. Refused to move my large plant pot. They tried to Say my furniture was already scratched before they moved it. A lie. I had to move the rest myself and assemble my bed. They said they couldn’t get my box spring out of basement but other movers moved it in last year. I lost my box spring and must replace. I am glad I purchased extra insurance because I’m going to make a claim

Damage to king mattress (see driver's damage report)
They rolled the "round" coffee table and round dining room table on their edges instead of carrying them . This caused scaring on both. It was not discovered until the left.

Even though this company returned our money it still cost us $615.00 to repair the damage they created. The two gentlemen who tried to move our furniture tried hard but to know avail. I won’t use this company again but I would the two movers

Although I answered everything excellent, I did notice that there was 1 member of the team that seemed to push back on the lead. Who by the way was someone that I would refer to any one who uses your services. The lead and his second truck lead worked well together as a team. I found no major damage only small nicks here and there on the wood finishes. It was a long and tedious day for all of us, 12.5 hours, which pushed your team to its max. Overall excellent service and care of our furniture and boxed goods, excellent is where I have to grade your team and service.

Movers were scheduled to do two big jobs that day and didn't even arrive at my apartment until 3:31. They said they wouldn't be able to get it done that day. We were supposed to be out of our apartment that day and had to pay fees because we weren't. They moved our furniture but left all the boxes. That was a Tuesday. The company didn't send someone back to our apartment to finish until SATURDAY. We had to go 5 days with just furniture. Nothing we needed to live and start unpacking. Then they admitted that they don't lock the truck when they leave it on the street in downtown Denver. Sure enough, we ended up with missing stuff. The second crew that moved us was in a hurry also. We have scratches on furniture and floors and boxes that were clearly labeled ended up in all the wrong places.

Significant damage to my furniture during the move itself. Movers did not use pads or wrapping on my couches & coffee table which caused numerous scrapes to the wood itself as well as tearing the fabric & stitching of the couch. Additionally, the coffee table received a 4" crack to the corner. All-in-all, significant negligence throughout the moving process.

I contacted the management company the day after it happened and received no response for 2+ weeks. Finally, I learned that their damage-claim vendors are unable to repair my coffee table, and instead they will provide a $0.60 per pound reimbursement. I would not suggest using Two Men & a Truck unless your furniture is from Ikea, Wayfair, or made of cheap materials, because their care of goods is on-par with throwing things out.

Movers were friendly, broke two tables, took them about 11 hours because I guess we had more stuff than the office staff realized. Would have been much better to have one or two more movers. Seemed pretty tired towards the end and ready to get out of there, which is understandable! Could have used them more to move things to their proper places but by then it was almost the end of the day.
