Movers for Military®

Our North County community has the power to make a difference! This fall, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® North County is inviting local residents, businesses, and organizations to join our annual MOVERS FOR MILITARY® donation drive to support veterans in need.

Since 2012, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has been collecting essential items to help veterans in our communities. Through our partnership with Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD), we're working to make everyday essentials more accessible to those who have served our country.

And we need your help to make this year's drive a success!

Whether you have gently used clothing to donate, can contribute new hygiene products, or want to help organize a collection at your workplace or school, there's a way for everyone to get involved. Even a small contribution can help make a difference in the life of a local veteran.

Ready to participate? Here's everything you need to know.

MOVERS FOR MILITARY®: Your Questions Answered

What is MOVERS FOR MILITARY®?

Every fall, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® organizes MOVERS FOR MILITARY®, a community-wide donation drive dedicated to supporting veterans who need a helping hand. Our North County team works with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to collect essential supplies ahead of Veterans Day.

We make participation simple by providing collection boxes and coordinating pickups. It's an opportunity for our neighbors to come together around an important cause and show appreciation for those who have served.

Where do the Movers for Military donations go?

All donations support veterans served by Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD). The organization provides support to veterans experiencing challenges such as homelessness, substance use, and mental health concerns, helping them work toward recovery and greater stability.

Your donated items can help provide practical necessities and everyday comforts to veterans as they navigate their next chapter.

How can North County residents get involved with Movers for Military?

There are several ways to support MOVERS FOR MILITARY® this year:

  • Bring a collection box to your community. Businesses, schools, and local organizations can partner with us to collect donations from employees, students, customers, and neighbors.
  • Contribute items from our wish list. Look through the requested supplies below and set aside new or gently used items in good condition.
  • Drop off donations at our warehouse. Visit TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® North County at 9245 Farnham Street, San Diego, CA 92123 to drop off your contributions.
  • Help us spread the word. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors about the drive. The more people who participate, the greater our community impact can be!

Whether you donate one item or help organize a larger collection, your support is appreciated.

Movers for Moms®

Thank You, NORTH COUNTY!

This year’s Movers for Moms® drive was another reminder of how powerful community support can be.

Together with several incredible local businesses throughout North County, we collected nearly 40 boxes filled with thousands of donated items for mothers supported by Father Joe’s Villages. All donations were delivered in time for their Mother’s Day pop-up event, helping provide comfort and care to moms experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.

From personal care products and toiletries to thoughtful self-care items, every contribution helped make Mother’s Day feel a little brighter for women and families going through difficult times.

We’d like to give a special thank you to our 2026 San Marcos and North County drop-off partners:

  • YogaSix Scripps Ranch
  • YogaSix Solana Beach
  • San Elijo CycleBar
  • St. Francis School
  • Club Pilates Oceanside
  • YogaSix North Carlsbad

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s campaign. Whether you donated an item, shared the drive, or helped spread the word, your support helped make a real impact for local mothers in our community.
